That was NO CHARGE! BS referee’s get too caught-up in the atmosphere and try to show their ass!

Ref was way too late getting in his position. Watch the replay. Lazy work and too emotional of a call! Block or no call!

Felt i had an edge on that one

The only reason for a home court advantage is because of referee bias.  The referees get overwhelmed by the crowd and unintentionally make bad decisions.

Didn't show up 2nd half unfortunately.

Also how do you unintentionally make a bad decision.  If by getting overwhelmed as you say are they not intentionally making bad calls to make the home crowd happy?

 Pretty much what I said! So, I agree! That block/charge call was a key in the game. The referee was too late getting in position. All ref¡¯s have been told to start calling the block when the defender is still moving. This guy(ref) must be a newby! The atmosphere was way too much for him! I guarantee he went back in the locker room and confessed to have missed that one!

 Not necessarily! More not experienced enough to be officiating a game like this one. The atmosphere overwhelmed him! I guarantee this guy gets a shitty game to officiate next time.

You can see unintentional umpire bias in the MLB where the first pitch is called a strike when it is on the corners 51.2% of the time.

If the count is 3-0 a strike will be called on the corners 67.6% of the time.

These were not rookie referees and I can see your point if it was maybe the Final 4 but how experienced to you need to be just to officiate a regular season game I mean its what they get paid to do
