Plus edey is pretty slow/methodical  down low...which uconn should be able to defend

I'll disagree here.  PURDUE DOES in fact shoot 3's as good as Alabama.  In fact, %wise they are better.  But Alabama lives from the 3pt line and Purdue obviously has the best big in the game (and player in the game) so they rely on the inside game.  Edey has played almost all game throughout the tournament.  I don't think he's going to be gasping for air no matter who is defending him.  Ironically I like UCONN b/c of FT shooting at end of game.  But I don't think the game will go as you scripted above.

Yes, pur #2 shooting 3s.  But that's based of everyone doubling Edey.  Uconn won't have to double much.  And uconn guards faster stronger bigger more athletic.  They're going to struggle from 3s this game.  Smith couldn't throw it in the ocean last game.

 They have never had to shoot against the size of UConn.  Castle is a monster defender, along with Newton, Karaban and Spencer who is a dog.  Just canĄ¯t see them hanging with the Huskies for a full 40 minutes.

 This game reminds me of the NCAAF championship, between Michigan and Washington, All the money backing Washington were hopeful they could beat the better team, But Michigan came out and played Michigan football, I see it the same way, Purdue is good, UConn is the best team in the country! Give all the points!  Uconn by 13 plus!

It amazes me that folks don’t realize the depth Purdue has. They only see the dominance of UConn vs teams that lacks what Purdue has….phycial bigs….

SD State…6’9 LeDee had a solid performance…18pts, 8 boards…imagine what 7’4 Edey will do. 

Illinois…6’10 225 Hawkins….not phycsical enough, and Dainja is limited offensively. 

Bama…zero true big.

 Remember….Creighton, St John, Nova, Kansas all have physical players underneath the rim…none like Edey….and they either beat or played UConn tight…
