No. 6 Baylor 49, Oklahoma State 28: Devin Chafin rushed for 106 yards and three touchdowns as the host Bears downed the Cowboys and moved into a first-place tie in the Big 12 Conference with idle TCU.
Shock Linwood added 113 rushing yards and a score for Baylor (9-1, 6-1), which gained more than 500 yards of total offense for the 11th time in 12 home games. Bryce Petty went 18-of-29 for 262 yards and two touchdowns and ran for a 21-yard score to seal the win with three minutes left.
Freshman Mason Rudolph - starting in place of injured Daxx Garman - went 13-of-25 for 281 yards and two touchdowns for Oklahoma State (5-6, 3-5), which has lost five straight. James Washington had four catches for 114 yards, and David Glidden had five for 99 yards.
Baylor scored 36 seconds into the game on Petty's 65-yard pass to Jay Lee and had a 14-0 lead after Petty's 54-yard strike to Corey Coleman. Chafin scored his first two touchdowns in between a pair of Oklahoma State scores - Desmond Roland's 1-yard run and Glidden's 8-yard catch with one second left - on the way to a 28-14 halftime lead.
Linwood and Chafin punched in rushing scores on back-to-back possessions to push the lead to 42-14 with 14:21 left. The Cowboys got within 42-28 with a pair of scores on Rudolph's 68-yard pass to Washington and Rennie Childs' 2-yard score with 10:44 left but Orion Stewart's interception on the next drive ended Oklahoma State's comeback hopes.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Baylor won its 15th straight home game, remaining tied with Alabama for the longest active FBS streak. ... Petty now has a touchdown pass in 22 straight games. ... The Cowboys have been outscored 201-68 during its losing streak.
