Auburn 45, No. 7 Texas A&M 41: Nick Marshall totaled four touchdowns and Tre Mason rushed for 178 yards and a score as the visiting Tigers won a shootout with the Aggies.
Johnny Manziel finished 28-of-38 for 454 yards and four touchdowns and added 48 yards and a score on the ground for Texas A&M (5-2, 2-2 SEC). Mike Evans caught 11 passes for a school-record 287 yards and four TDs.
Marshall was 11-for-23 for 236 yards and two TDs and rushed for 100 yards and two scores on 20 carries for Auburn (6-1, 3-1), and Mason capped a 21-point fourth quarter with a 5-yard run for the go-ahead score with 1:19 left. Sammie Coates finished with five catches for 104 yards, including a 43-yard touchdown.
Manziel and Evans hooked up for touchdowns of 26, 64 and 42 yards in the first half as the Aggies took a 24-17 lead into the break, and the duo teamed up for a 33-yard score in the third quarter. Manziel hit Evans for two big gains on the Aggies' final possession to drive to the Auburn 18, but the Tigers came up with a pair of sacks and Texas A&M turned it over on downs.
Manziel left in the fourth quarter favoring his right arm and winced after attempting a warm-up toss on the sideline. He missed one series but returned to lead a 12-play, 75-yard drive and scramble in for a 1-yard touchdown to give the Aggies a 41-38 lead with 5:05 left.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Evans is the first player in Texas A&M history with two 200-yard receiving games. กญ Auburn has had a 100-yard rusher in six of its seven games, including four straight. กญ The Aggies have scored 40 or more points in 10 straight games - the longest active streak in the FBS - and have topped 400 total yards in 19 consecutive contests.
