Caesars Entertainment, one of the biggest global iGaming and entertainment operators, has announced its acquisition of ZeroFlucs, an Australian trading technology company.
The move is set to enhance Caesars Digital’s trading abilities, with a fully in-sourced solution for same-game parlay pricing correlation.
ZeroFlucs previously provided its software to Caesars Entertainment through a commercial arrangement, demonstrated by Caesars Sportsbook’s in-play same-game parlays and other eligible SGP betting markets for the MLB. The acquisition enables Caesars Sportsbook to augment its pricing offerings and leverage its data sources.
“We are excited to welcome the talented ZeroFlucs team into the Caesars family,” Eric Hession, president of Caesars Digital, said in a press release. “Their expertise in data science and trading technology coupled with their passion for sports makes them a perfect fit with our team as we drive to offer our customers the best sports betting product that complements our award-winning Caesars Rewards program.”
ZeroFlucs’ leadership remains the same and will work with the existing data science and data engineering teams employed at Caesars.
“We are thrilled to be joining forces with the team at Caesars and can’t imagine a better home for our people or a platform for our product to shine on,” ZeroFlucs’ founder and CEO Steve Gray said. “Our team has always been passionate about being at the forefront of what’s possible in sports betting, and with the resources and reach of Caesars, we can now focus on taking these experiences to the next level.”
Caesars Entertainment stays busy in 2024
It’s been a busy calendar year for Caesars Entertainment, which won the 2024 EGR Casino Operator of the Year award in New York last week.
Over the last six months, Caesars has quickly expanded its operations with several integral moves.
It launched three new retail sportsbooks in New Mexico via a partnership with Laguna Development Corporation, rolled out extensive updates to its popular Caesars Palace Online Casino mobile app, and renewed its partnership with the NHL to launch Caesars NHL Blackjack, an immersive Live Dealer online casino gaming product available to play on Caesars Digital, during the 2024 NHL Stanley Cup playoffs.
