It is the only card on the market where it is not sticking out from the side of your laptop like some bulky thing that might break off any time.

That's not a bad little card. Although most don't need something this fast. I wonder if firewire will come out with a new offering soon ?

Lipps i agree most do not need it right now, but i am sure it will become standard eventually.

Dont know about firewire but aint it very limited? Not many products for Firewire.

It's really an Apple thing. Although Sony is using somthing like it, but they call it i.LINK.

Really is a video thing, but a good deal of the handhelds just have USB now.

I did not know that. Anyway i am not using it and probably wont. If my next laptop have an express card slot i think it might get the card from my post above.
