What do you think about it now? Does it cause you problems and shut down with updates like the Palm Pre did? Does your phone battery keep charge throughout the day the way you expect? Do you like the ability it has to get to websites when you are out and about? Any websites their system doesn't work with that you have encountered? The touchscreen work well for you? Overall, would you recommend this phone to others? Thanks depeche. Hope you like it.
(I ask that palm pre question because my wife has a palm pre and she says I would never put up with the amount of downtime due to updates and the number of times she has to take the battery out because the phone locks up)

Haven't had any shutdown problems. As far as the battery, it depends a lot on learning how to use and configure the phone properly -- watch your 'running services' - if you run all kinds of crap in the background then you have problems. But not that I know what I'm doing, it keeps a charge way better than the Pre. Web renders great. Love the huge screen. Love how much I can customize the 7 screens across. Google Voice search is the shit.
I wasn't sure the first couple days. I had culture shock. But once I settled in, I love it to death.
All that said, Evo is going to be the first phone to get Android 2.2 aka Froyo. It's in the process of being rolled out right now, supposed to be fully out this week Aug 3. Froyo supports full Flash, among other enhancements.
As for 4G and connection overall, it all depends where you are.

Thanks for the update, Depeche. sounds awesome. I'll check in here in a week, and if you still love it, I'm getting it. I still don't know what flash support is lol, but I'll do some research on it.
