Need a GPS for my car. Anybody have a clue bout these things?

I've done some looking online browsing and Tom Tom seems to get pretty good reviews.

Anybody have one that might have some idea as to what features are a must have? I'm a simple man so all the crap they add on to different models I would have no use for. Just want to be able to get the right size and see where the hell I'm going.

I'm a huge Garmin fan. They have so much crap on these thing now. Just get one of the stripped down models

Garmin is all I would use

When I travel, I can find:
restaurants
rest stops
gas stations
hotels
movie theatres
Wal marts

anything I want

Garmin streetpilot works for me

Got a Garmin "Nuvie" for xmas. Amazing. I'm sure they're all good but these really are fantastic.

Thanks for the input guys....... I'll never be lost again. These gadgets can be figured out in 5 minutes.

(I programmed some sexy Croation broad to talk to me on speaker for corrections).
