I have been trying to figure out a problemam having with internet explorer and i havent been able to find the answer.
Heres the thing, one of the secuirty programs i have on my computer locks my home page so it cant be changed. My home page is yahoo. Well heres the thing, sometimes when i open explorer the page goes right to yahoo.com but other times it doesnt go to yahoo, com and instead goes to the numbered page of yahoo.com example 60.124.45.123. I looked the number up that it trys going to and it is indeed yahoo, but since my software only lets me go to yahoo.com, i cant connect. So i have to keep opening and closing explorer until it finally works. What is causing this and what can i do?
Second question is what is a good printer to buy that uses the least amount of ink and cheapest inks. I would like the printer to be able to print photos. It doesnt have to be a great printer, just a decent one. There are so many out there, my mind is getting fried trying to pick one and all the review sites have differnt opinions, so that gets confusing.
Thanks for the help

For a printer, your best beet is getting a laserjet printer. There is a bigger up front cost, but you only pay about .02 cents a page as compared to .05 .10 for inkjets

The progrm is spybot. I have it setup to lock the page because i used to get shit on my computer that would constantly change my home page. What i want to know is why is explorer going to the numbered verision of the yahoo page?
Do laser printers do all the same things inkjets can do? And can they print on all the differnt types of papers?
Also do you have a favorite make and model for the laser printer?
thanks

It's probably that damn tea timer thing. We stopped using spybot a little over a year ago and started using Malwarebytes. The paid version gives you the same protection. Did it just start doing this? What virus protection are you using ? You could turn off the home page protection just to check if it still does that. If it doesn't then we can narrow it down to Sypbot doing this.
The only thing lasers won't print on well is Photo paper.
I like the HP's.....I pesonally have a 2600n and we use these as rentals also.
