It really depends on your view. It does lower cost for software and services, but on the other hand there could be privacy issues.

here is the thing....

your computer isnt all that secure anyways (especially consider all the updates one must install for the myriad of software and apps installed), between back door exploits, drive by viruses, etc cloud computing doesnt pose much more of a risk as far as security goes.

AND ALSO...what do you keep on your computer that you cant afford be seen by intruder...as for myself I dont keep anything THAT sensitive, no social security #, I change my passwords to sensitive sites (ie bank) with much regularity. Thats really about as senstive as my computing goes, inline banking...

I already am at about 70% on the cloud as is...im very interesetd in seeing a OS that is dedicated to cloud computing, more so for the novelty of it...the way my computers are set up, I think everything is fine as is. But cloud OS may ring something to the table I didnt foresee and I may have to get in on it then...
