2 hours ago spilled tablespoon of juice on k board.

I immediatly hit it with a dish towel...then inverted the laptop hoping gravity would do some magic. Already the keys aren't working properly.

Any advice? The laptop (Toshiba is now on it's side).

Unreal....I feel awful.

Blowdryer, microwave, freezer...anything's worth a shot.

She was an ole Toshiba.

First of all get some Windex and spray the keyboard real well. Making sure some of it goes under the keys. Oh yeah, make sure you take the battery out of the unit first.

Wait about 20 minutes and see what happens. If it doesn't work it's not the end of the world. They keyboard can be replaced. Give me an update and I will see about replacement keyboards if you need one.

Followed your steps Lippsman, waiting for a full dry under the sun on the patio. (It's not too hot).

Hope for the best and thanks much for your reply. I'll let you know what the results are later on today.

I just changed the keyboard on my laptop a few days ago because some of the keys fell off and I couldn't re-attach them. It was inexpensive to buy a new keyboard and easy to install. I YouTubed to see if someone provided a demonstration video, and sure enough they did.

I ran a test on the keys. Seems to be cooperative so far after 5 hours in the sun.

Probably give way however on the final run.

I'll ship it off to you Lipps if we get to that.
