Ok fellas nothing looks tasty to me today so we're not gonna make any picks on Survivor. We will be back tomorrow to keep the streak going. Good Luck to everyone and lets bust them out this weekend.

Not every game is available on Survivor. It's really Covers call. But thats a good thing. I live here in Portland and it can be a very tough place to play. I'm a Lakers fan and Portland is a house of horrors for the Lakers no matter how good they are. Even though Boston has had success in Portland, they can step up and bite you at any time. Best to lay off.

I took Illinois -4 over Indiana. I thought that even though the Hawks lost by 41 to the Hornets that if they could beat the Heat they would be good enough for a bad Bucks team. I guess not, I've learned my lesson and will get revenge on them at some point.

Lemme take that back since covers somehow fa reasons beyond me took Hofstra off. I like Cleveland St and Oakland.

They rotate those picks constantly. Here's a trick you can do. I have done it many times and it works. If you see something on the picks that you like, open a new browser. That way you can still pick the game you want as long as you're not clicked off. Most people don't realize that. Also sometimes if you don't like there selections wait about 5 minutes and click on again and some of them will be different including ones that were off the board that you like. They know what they're doing. They have little tricks I have notice as your streak gets longer. We will be discussing these later when our streaks reach double digits. These guys know what they're doing believe me. It's not gonna be easy to get the $25K.

Friday's pick is a hot one. Take Orlando on the Streak Survivor. The Bulls Rose has the flu and has been diagnosed with 2 ulcers. Jump on this quick because they may take it down. Take Orlando! It's a Pickem selection. Lets go boys we're putting our W4 on the line.

I wish I had taken Rider, I would have a win and be able to take the Magic. Instead I'm on Illinois, I need them to win by 5 points or more and they still have almost another half and it will probably take 10-15 minutes after the game ends to unlock. I'm hoping the line stays at pick for another hour.

First the Hawks and now the Illini quit. What is with these teams losing to teams with injured starters out. Indiana had both of their starting guards out and overrated Illinois loses straight up. Well if I'm going to lose it's better for the team I pick to get an L too then win and not cover the spread. Anyhow I'm mad this is 5 of my 6 picks losing is Orlando going to show up or is more BS going to happen?

I shoulda had Rider +8, they won straight up at Iona.

Hey Quad Illinois reminds me of syracuse debacle the otha nite. Fuckers had a -13 spread and tank it immediately against the Hall. Just hard to tell where is the motivation especially thru stats and snippet of news they put on their site. Little do the bettor know the (why?) when game starts they playing like pure garbage!!

MIZUNO22 hey mate i have won the monthly contest( although i was ineligible to collect the prize) since i won the 100,000. Hard to get motivated when you are not eligible for prizes. Regarding my run , of course there is luck( 2 or 3 games i could have easily lost), but for me the key is instinct and knowing when not to pick a game. The contest is tough and hats off to those that get over12 right in a row!

Smooth....I like what you've done here. Already I've heard some excellent suggestions/strategies. Here's another one.

Some sportsbooks offer alternative totals for over/under (specifically I'm looking at the NBA w this) and this may be similar to the hockey o/u tip that was shared by Pcharm as this too just illuminates some piks where the odds are now more in your favor. I've noticed in this contest that they hit the spreads right on the Vegas # usually, but are slower to react to the movement of game totals w the big sportsbooks.

For example, I almost took Golden St/Charlotte over for tonights game as I saw the number ...WAS... 204.5 earlier this morning. Going to check the odds on alternative totals shows me that over 204.5 is a -130 favorite. Double checking that with trends on this site tells me the over is a solid pick tonight. After researching, I come back to this contest-- (and since I didn't have another browser window open ....awesome tip by the way) -- I see they have finally adjusted the number to where it now stands at 205.5!

Further proof the over is the play 2nite in this one.

I like what you've done so much I'm on board with Orlando as well. Looking to get my 8th with it. Having 2 stomach ulcers has to take your mind off the hoops somewhat. Loss of Rose focus plus no one to stop Howard inside means I feel this pik is even better than the G St over. Good luck to everyone. I'll be surfing this thread and this thread alone when I come back.

P.S. Gotta luv the Bucks too for an honorable mention pik tonight as well....lol

JT-Thanks for checking in! Those are some great tips you provided. Once again fellas we have a member giving us valuable information. This leads me to believe that somebody from our thread is gonna crack the W21 mark this year and have a shot at the big money. I too have noticed the slow movement of the totals in the past and there is no question that this is to our advantage. JT is riding a W8 so lets jump on board with him and ride him to the top!

Smooth, allow me to further illustrate that strategy tip using the same example.

If one had locked in on the G St over when covers offered it up at 204.5 early this morning, they'd now be sitting on a pick that has current odds standing at -175 and climbing steadily.

Now that's what I call a great value pik, swinging the odds in your favor. I've already seen the midday number for this over/under game as hi as 208 at other sportsbooks so the money is coming in large for the over on this one for sure. Getting it at 205.5 was still good odds (-150), as I noticed one of our fellow members in the top 10 overall is locked in on this very pik with that number. Again, great odds in the context of what we are given in this contest.

One of my pet peeves is once u lock on a pik, u can no longer see covers' lines and where they stand now. I suppose u need another member to help out.

For those that can still see it, just curious what the over/under is for the Golden State/Charlotte game on this site and what it may rise to up til the late 10:30p eastern start time.

Thx to all, as smooth is on the right track with working together. If we all get to W21, we ALL get paid. One of the positives of this game is we are NOT competing with each other rooting for one another to lose as in other streak contests.

Good luck thread groupies, I'm out for the day/night. Hopefully Orlando wins easily making my missing a great value pik in the over a moot point.

Do u bet real money anywhere? I do.. for over 10 yrs now..but I just joined here. I place mainly 'fun' bets here. I actually had the Bulls v Orl till I saw ur post so I switched. My bad.

The formula u seek really doesnt exist. However..home v away..last 10 games..injuries..and a little 'feel' matter.

My advice..pick a few teams..follow them closely..and make ur picks off them all yr.

Rose ended up playing, he got 22 points but i must apologize, because I took the Magic -1 and it's been nothing but losing for me lately with my 1-6 record over the past week. The Magic would have had a much better chance had I layed off the pick.

Like a Cable system you may have at home with 500 Channels and nothing good to watch. Thats what Saturdays ticket looks like to me. Tons of games but nothing really stood out until...I saw Butler and Valparaiso. Butler owns them. With Butler only laying 2 points I couldn't resist and what the hell we don't even have a streak anyways so Butler it is. Take Butler -2 Over Valparaiso. SmoothD Out!
