The defending champs have yet to win but Counties have hardly been impressive with 1 from 3. Massive changes to the Counties side that got walloped by Hawkes Bay may lead to some improvement. Both sides will be desperate but for Taranaki it is really a must win. Home ground advantage and an edge in midfield penetration should see them cover the spread which has surprisingly moved from 6.5 to 5 with my book.

Taranaki -5 @ $1.87 for me.

I know they've made 9 changes but after watching counties last week i just cant bet on them , they got riped to shreds by the backs. Taranaki for me

Counties and under for me. Hard to say Counties have been unimpressive, cracking on attack against Manawatu and cracking in defense against Canterbury. Didn't show up against Hawkes Bay, lots of silly handling errors, things that can be fixed. Taufua will make a huge difference tonight.

Not overly impressive but as Sevvy said "you don't have to draw pictures". The books pay on results alone.

Nice to have targeted the area where the game was won with Ngatai's penetration ultimately proving the difference in a scrappy affair.
