Found a loser last week when Tahs struck hot form and Brumbies were tres ordinaire. Kuridrani, who has been sensational, had a shocker, but truth is, Brumbies were outplayed all over the paddock. Hope Tahs can maintain that form.
This week I'm going across the ditch and backing Highlanders. Very difficult for SA sides in NZ, particularly first up, and with Vermeulen out I'll be very surprised if Stormers come away with the points. It won't be a walk in the park but 2.5 is not enough start for the visitors.
I'm snapping up the Highlanders -2.5 @ $1.90 while it's available, as I expect this to shorten before kick-off.
Good punting all

I am just watching this game between the Rebels and the Canes..from the 60th minute mark to the 70th minute mark, I reckon the ball was in play for about 90 seconds. No wonder this sport is dying a slow death in this country.
Nothing but scrums, repack the scrum, scrum, repack the scrum, teams cant attack for the life of them....
The reds have scored something like 5 tries in 5 games....
Its as if the rules discourage attacking rugby.

I actually mentioned this on Twitter, very frustrating.

Rostos, I couldn't agree more about scrums. They take forever to set initially and more often than not there's at least one reset and/or a penalty.
I would like to see one scrum and if there has to be a reset then that reset to be uncontested. This would still allow a contest at scrums because if the non-feeding side forces an infringement they get the feed on the ensuing uncontested scrum.
If you want to see tries and good attack (and who doesn't) then don't watch the Rebels. Predictable rugby is boring as hell but good rugby is great to watch.
Thanks for tossing in your thoughts - always appreciated.
