Bulls did as expected and covered last week to put a few bob in the kick and leave my season record at 7 from 9.
Tough round coming up as several sides are playing below their best but could hit their straps at any time. These are games to be avoided as far as punting goes. The Reds have been ultra consistent and if they were up against anyone but the Cheetahs first game back home I'd be all over the Cheetahs. No market up on the Brumbies /Rebels O/U but I think the number should be around 37.5 and if they throw up 40+ I think there is value in the Under.
So, to the bet for the round. Stormers did well last week and have a great draw to finish the season with so many home games. If they can put Saturday's game away then they will rightly like their chances of topping the SA conference. This alone will be sufficient motivation. Force, unlike some of the other sides that have been playing poorly, don't have the flair, skill or strike power to run up a big score. They are also one of the few sides that home ground advantage doesn't apply to. Put simply, I think Force just don't have the attack to put up enough points to stay with the Stormers. I really can't see Stormers letting this one slip through their fingers and a converted try doesn't look enough start for the home side.
I'm backing Stormers -5.5 @ $1.90
Good punting all.

I won't be changing my bet but I see some books have 4.5 as the start. I'm happy to be giving 5.5 but will hold off for a bit and hope for a better price.

Im worried force went to sa lost two games by 1. Sometimes never know wts force up to.
Thanks for your thoughts but they went down to Bulls by 1 and Sharks by 6.
Force have scored 124 points at average 15.5 per game, only exceeding 17 points twice. Stormers have scored 199 points at 24.8 per game with lowest score being 19.
GL whatever you decide.

I got few parlays. Like force +10.5 @1.50 and stomers win 1-12. It was stomers -2.5 before. Then lot of south african pump the money. Then bookies changed. I saw few websites thats stomers is sa play of the week.

T2m - this is not one of my more confident plays of the season but I think there are a few potential upsets this round and I fancy this as the best bet. However this is a medium bet only for me.

It's nice to be on the winning side but it's even more satisfying when it's for the right reasons. Force's lack of penetration enabled Stormers to cover with their lowest score of the season.
Also snagging the best price on offer ($1.95) helps the pocket as I saw they were into $1.80 by kick-off. Hope a few jumped on board.

That was a very dour game. Hard to watch especially that second half.
While I'm a rugby tragic, I have to admit that not all games are a great spectacle. One for the purists as they say. Regardless of the mediocrity of the attack it was still terrific, committed defence in the last few minutes by Stormers to hold them out.
