Ok its a little bit of a homer bet here but I think this is actually a tricky spot for Texas .. Sets up as a total sandwich yer off the big home game vs Clem, seemed like Clem put up more of a battle than expected albeit the final score was in deed a cover .. but UT went thru the whole reg ssn finished off w massive TAMU game, the Champ game and it does seem like between devoting energy to Clemson and while there's 10 days to next game you got OSU or Oregon on deck gotta already be thinking how they'll attack both of them .. sure they have a game plan for ASU but it does seem like a spot where Devils can catch these guys off guard and if they can play that Vandy / GT style on offense long drives and potentially throw texas off their offensive rhythm .. That's not the recipe to cover btw that's really the upset .. Catching 14 I think ASU could probably just back their way into a cover on this one .. the other thing to note is we're in survive and advance, not resume win big .. there's also no incentive to show off all your best plays put your best stuff on tape with 2 more very strong opponents TBD after this game .. 

Outside of all that UT got a couple injuries in the last game maybe just one impacts this week but its your other OT and we know everyone behind their main dude Kelvin Banks is not elite .. also had WR Bond out last game .. apparently the other OL injured OL-C Majors could have come back in but they held him out .. the RB Wisner came in a couple plays he's probably good to go .. Also a question of how sturdy Quinn Ewers ankle is .. 

yeah gimme 14 as ASU had the extra time off and they won't have any concerns about researching future opponents or limiting their playbook saving roster risk management, etc .. its all systems GO for one of the biggest games in program history and no matter how many pts they're down Sam and Skatt will keep fighting 60 mins .. no prob taking the pts in this spot .. good luck!

I mean you can always dream big and have fun with it .. I'd love to see it!! but yeah can't recommend it .. Skat also 100-1 along w bunch of other guys and feels like that's the defacto long shot odds .. but then we see ASU to win the natty is 65-1 which means in reality they're probably 150-1 or more to win the whole thing .. so Skat to win the MVP given all that should be like 300-1 fair odds maybe more .. and I eluded to that on my prop bet that odds tough to calc almost certainly a losing move to bet those .. but whatever .. futures dice have been hot for me this year so why not let's have fun .. 

The guys I think maybe have a legit shot outside the QB's I'd look at the two I had, but there's the other Buckeye's WR Egbuka 35-1 I took a little hit of that too .. he's really good and might get the targets if they make the natty but he also doesn't have the announcers fawning like J-Smith does .. still he could emerge as the winner if bucks make it .. and I'd take a flyer on someone from the Buckeyes defense OSU safety Caleb Downs could make some plays on D but also has a punt ret TD vs Indy .. will be shopping odds for him and Jack Sawyer if OSU makes it and the books put up some big odds up for them .. in case you can't tell I think Buckeyes look pretty good .. ESPN's book left their natty odds up while OSU was dismantling Tenn so grabbed 5-1 for them knowing this was going to 3 to 4 after the game .. ESPN sportsbook interns been asleep at the kill switch a few times this year, great app to have ..

Yeah man hope they set us up with a few more 'wouldn't it be fun if they won' teams that sit around a month before playing a big road game again next year .. will be slaughterhouse 4 again .. keep em comin CFP!! LOL ..

It's MVP of the national championship so first thing to consider is 'can this team get to the game' and in reality the MVP is really tough to win by the losing team so for ASU you gotta see the path to the Natty its beat Texas, beat Oregon or Ohio State and very hard to be the MVP without a win so then beat UGA or ND or PSU .. maybe if Boise makes it .. so yeah if ASU can win the natty then I think decent odds SKAAAT-MAN would almost need to be playing at an MVP level .. but now that I say that it could just be a low scoring game and his stats are not MVP level .. I'm gunna sit that one out I got my 'root for ASU' props on them just making the natty and im good w that ..

Early for these especially w OSU who has to beat Oregon and almost certainly UT, then prob beat either UGA or PSU or ND .. they have a tough road but maaan that was no joke and of all the (relatively predictable) massacres yesterday they looked like the team to beat .. Elite D all year and offense operated like one we'd have seen on that '2019 finally got the run game looking like something close to what they had back in '19 and vs a defense that was nooooo picnic for anyone all year .. I do think that loss to UM has put a new attitude on this team .. and other side I think we're getting a deal PSU maybe an underdog in one game to make the champ game but TW is actually the sorta player that I could see have a big enough impact in the champ game that making him an MVP of the game becomes unavoidable even in a loss .. not likely but I think he actually does give us that out .. and in a PSU W I'd expect him to be the odds on fav .. same for J-SMITH if OSU takes the natty down .. are these great odds idk tough to calculate but think good shot for one or both to make the champ game and we'll have good odds for easily the two most dynamic players in the entire CFP .. 

I wonder no more if that Michigan loss had any motivating impact on this total blood bath ..

Can find -7 for minor extra juice and 7.5 for even .. Big wonder for the playoff was what this HFA was worth think I noted that in the opening bowl notes post because its totally rarified air here with the creme de-la creme FBS teams .. we know from the FCS that its pretty golden playin at home in the playoffs getting a max effort in front of the fans the HF really makes a difference .. and we know from the great Ralph Michaels that teams that big favored teams that tank in final game of the reg ssn do pretty well in bowl games covering .. that's just the bowl games btw where some teams just don't even show up .. well this is the playoffs and was probably the worst taste left in any teams mouth to close out a ssn in history .. maybe a misunderstood / underrated HFA on top of it ... so to recap its in the shoe at night in the playoffs you just lost to michigan as 3 td favs you are back in front of your fans you paid a bazillion dollars for this roster you are favored heavily and coach is fired before he can get back to the locker room if you don't win this game .. like the stetup for big buckeys effort here

Beyond that think its ELITE D vs very good D .. its good offense vs hit and miss .. I think we get the best buckeyes we've seen all year and don't care if the place is chalk full of VOLS fans .. the weakness for OSU is that OL and they gotta game plan around not let havoc turn into game turning plays .. I just think Buckeyes protect and avenge their turf .. cuz maaaaaan if they don't... hahaaaaaaa .. oh man .. good luck!

 I'm on PSU -8 I posted a note somewhere maybe on page 1 .. basically think SMU OL won't hold up and they cause jennings some real problems .. PSU OC can scheme this up with the run game and tyler warren .. and its a shame I would love to see SMU big win here .. 500-1 natty ticket value would loooove a big throwback pony express win and catch boise in the Q.finals .. that bet aint for peanuts either.. alas I think its end of the road for that ticket .. but we'll see .. good luck Joey P ..

Crazy as it sounds I thought the Wave as a team showed up with the juice to compete and UF injuries and opt outs and Lagway trying wayyy too hard had the Wave D stifling him time and again was a great setup to cash a ticket here .. I should have looked around and seen whether Ty Thompson could throw more than 5 yards .. that guys was absolute 100% PURE DOG SH!T and I feel like selfishly ruined any shot because Tulane probably could have put a few drives together just dinkin n dunkin down the field, and instead from literally first play we saw Thompson tryin to show off some ability that wasn't there .. late game landed in the death cycle of can't move the ball / short field UF score ..  felt like if he just does the QB power mixes that short dinks n dunk runs n passes this team maybe keeps drives together and we have just suuuuch a different shorter game and one they at least have an outside shot in late .. Gator seemed to know he couldn't throw further down field and just took away their run game and it was game over for the offense . I saw Thompson skip easy open targets for first downs .. not scramble for first downs .. whiff on open guys, make horrible reads, wait wayyy too long miss all the windows .. same dumb look on his stupid face all game give him his squeegee back and drop him off at the underpass you found him .. portal QB playing for his transfer stock and willing to kill the game trying to show off instead of playing to compete and win is just not a spot I thought we'd end up in w this one .. HOLY SMOKES ..

Great performance by ND totally shut Indiana down .. Cignetti took a rag-tag group of G5-Journeymen and other genuine football players turned them into a formidable B10 force .. well .. 'B10 West' force .. End of the day feels like what we were watching was one of those games where like an Elite South Dakota State FCS team plays someone scraping the top 30 in FBS .. bigger faster stronger and all that talent differential adds up and Indy's D defending the run put them outta position all night ... Ciggy gets aggressive w 9 guys crowding ND at the 2 but OL gets hat on a hat, single high safety steps up to 2nd level and just never had an angle to catch ELITE RB J-LOVE who hits the hole untouched, nice block by WR and goodbye nobody catching that dude .. Felt like we did see Indy's able to slow them up at times and get pressure on Riley but his scrambling buys the time and OC Denbrock seemed to be a step ahead Riley just always seemed to have an out and found it time and again putting long drives together .. Not much for Rourke to throw to saw him lead his double covered WR too far and drops it in the safetys mitts on that MAJORLY critical INT .. a score there maybe covers the spread all else the same including the onside TD .. 2 TD's in garbage time only bagged a FG when the game mattered .. OL major breakdown when  PFF shows virtually all ND's pressure came vs pass sets pass had Indy cornered on critical plays .. 

Think we saw UGA totally shut down an all around stronger offense twice vs the horns on the road and neutral, stopped bama bleeding for the big comeback on the road, and FREAKISH turnovers on the road vs Ole Miss .. think Dawgs D is just toooo disruptive and quick to the punch and won't be out of position and have talent edge in spots ND doesnn't namely ND WR corps .. ND down a major DL dude potentially w Riley Mills going down last night .. Rocco Spindler starting OG also went down .. and maaan extra game might test the depth of this team .. PFF shows next man up is a big drop down .. Also UGA gets an extra tape on what these guys throwing their best heat and what they can do with and without the potentially injured starters .. just feels like UGA will have a plan here .. good luck!

Yeah train I was soooo hopeful Manny would show up full roster guys just ready to take a big scalp while Rebs waiting around a month you could see Kiffin showin up w a bunch of college dropouts smokin and playin video games all break lookin to get HOUUUUSED .. And hard to imagine Maliik "The Stink" Murphy's golden opp at Oreg State woulda been waiting for him if he played .. who knows .. maybe he'd land at something a little more interesting .. Beavs making a serious run for worst P4 team next yr .. sighhh

Was hoping for a MASSIVE BANGER but no chance of that JMU seemed to shoot themselves in the foot quite a bit couldn't reallllly get the run solidly going on a weakened WKY defense, felt like coach should have found some big plays with Hills just crowding the box but too many miscues dudded out too many drives .. Dukes D was solid as expected .. EOD happy with them eeking out the cover ..

Might get better by waiting but think we want to lock in a free 7 .. Eli Holstein missed final game and if he's in maybe you'll get 8 or 8.5 .. think this line is projecting him to play maybe minus a point or two .. if he doesn't though I think we quickly move under a TD maybe down to 4 / 4.5 .. even if he does play we've seen the motion of the ocean so far and pretty much every dog that has a full cupboard depth chart is gunna get their line pushed down and either way I expect this to close under a TD .. Can't say Toledo is all that good of a team but Pitt's D stunk this year and ending the season losing 5 in a row and going to the motor city bowl to play toledo probably isin't making them too excited for their post season .. Toledo maybe has more to play for here very bad taste left over after that final game that knocked them out the MAC champ game .. maybe see a little unfinished business situation for them esp getting a big P4 opponent .. they could certainly lose this easy but we did see them show up vs Wyoming last year in a game I thought they'd have no shot in and played really well miracle 'coach final game' is only thing that helped Wyo at the end .. and I think we'll at least get a team showing up trying here.. happy to take a free TD in bowl season with a team showing up and playing hard ..

It would seem like easiest way for Toledo to win is for fewer points to be scored .. hopefully Holstein is out or limited and with lot of the opt out / xfers for Pitt on the offensive side maybe we do end up getting a lower scoring affair ..
