Hmmm....I suppose it could be that high a drop whatwith all the crime trump has his handprints all over, sure, but I still feel it would be closer to 20% or as much as 21%

It was expected. They only base their arguments on emotions from what someone has told them to feel. When confronted by facts that conflict with those emotions their argument falls apart.

Murder rates in major U.S. cities have soared more than 10 percent in the last two years ¡ª with most homicides occurring in Democratic areas with soft-on-crime policies¡ª according to a study released by WalletHub.
Memphis, Tennesse; New Orleans, Louisiana; Richmond, Virginia; Washington, DC; and Detroit, Michigan, suffer from the biggest homicide rate problems, all led by left-wing mayors.
The study compared the rise in murder rates in 45 of the nation's most populated cities between 2021 and 2023 and found that killings were rising faster in Democrat-led cities than in Republican states.
Chidike Okeem, an assistant professor at Western New England University, blamed the issue on liberal, progressive cities that push social movements that aim to defund the police.

It would help America immensely if this was to occur BEFORE the coming 2024 election

FBI warns against ranking cities by crime rates and political affiliations. This glosses over numerous local, social, cultural and economic factors that influence crime. Raw ranking is a poor test for understanding what is happening. Common for large cities to have more crimes and more democrat voters. But it is a example of correlation without causality. Politifact rates false the claim that most violent cities are that way because of democrat policies.

Can you break down why per capita it is that way?
Can you break down what it is, if it is not the Leftist policies.
Especially since you want to dismiss facts when they do not fit your agenda (cities) while accepting facts when they do fit your agenda (states).
Take your time and do some good research.

Also, the FBI is not really a political think tank. So, their political opinion holds no weight in this discussion. They are good only for the crimes that are reported to them and that they investigate. I am more concerned with the murders, violent crimes, thefts, assaults, and that sort. Not even really things the FBI deals with as much as the municipal authorities do. Basically, you need to answer why the cities that have Leftist policies also have higher crime rates.
A state can be a majority Republican but have huge cities that are Democratic ¡ª that is where the trouble spots are.

It absolutely is a case of correlation with causation and I have given you ample proof of it before. So, if you want to say it isn¡¯t, then you have to prove what else it is or provide counter data to what I have given you. Otherwise, you are not being very honest in your argument simply to maintain a Leftist allegiance.

First we had some limited lockdowns imposed by each individual state (not nationwide by Feds)
Then we had stimulus after stimulus to save America from the republican mismanagement of covid. About $5 trillion spent on COVID between Trump and Biden admins although any intelligent person KNOWS most of the money Biden spent was *FORCED* as a result of the trump regime mismanagement of covid.
Then Biden gets us out of the $300 MILLION PER DAY money pit in Afghanistan that the republicans dragged us into 20 years ago and trump continued.
Then we start ramping up more federal spending for recovery efforts from covid mismanagement by the trump regime.
Then organize a coalition to confront the war Putin started after being emboldened by trump, including sanctions that hurt Russia and then realize that inflation skyrocketed as a result of Putin's war (emboldened by and even PRAISED by trump) and supply shortages caused by covid (which occurred during the trump regime that did nothing to stop it)

Any intelligent person should surmise that much.
Most violent states PER CAPITA are mostly red states.

Trump Stored Classified Documents in a stinky Bathroom - which shows signs of use during that time - Among Other Places, at Mar-a-Lago
The former president's indictment by a federal grand jury on Thursday detailed that Trump, 76, retained over 100 classified documents with some of the most sensitive topics originating from seven intelligence agencies, including the CIA, NSA and Department of Defense.
The documents were stored in "a ballroom, a bathroom and shower, an office space, [Trump¡¯s] bedroom, and a storage room" ¡ª all at Mar-a-Lago ¡ª per the document.

FBI investigation found no evidence of intentional misconduct in Hillary Clinton case.
Just extreme carelessness in handling documents which isn't a crime.
For security, reasonable for aides to destroy phones. Key difference is that Clinton, Pence and Biden cooperate with investigations while Trump repeatedly refuses.
That's a fact.
And at the time the FBI was lead by a republican, James Comey.
And a much more important FACT overlooked by the brainwashed masses on the right: if Hillary was so bad they had 4 years during trump's term to go after her. They had the presidency the senate, the House, and the handpicked republican AG to reopen the case in the DOJ! They could have done it, but the republican party in charge REFUSED.
Poof! No more effing whining about Hillary.....

With all due respect, I live in South Carolina, just north of Myrtle Beach and the crime is a regular thing forget the little chicken crap stuff like vandalism & petty theft of entering unlocked car. There is gun related problems 3 days a week! The problem I has nothing to do with the northerners to come down and retire with their big nest egg, it has to do with the folks that were born and raised here, poor education, drugs, not working, I don¡¯t know. But the minimum wage is still 7.25 an hour hopefully Nicky Haley, Tim Scott don¡¯t bring that short coming up because nationwide will get hammered. Not that they ever had a chance to begin with. They both are to be trumps running mate¡¡ I think I don¡¯t have to bring my kids up in these school district¡.It¡¯s the pits!
