I sent & received a Christmas card from nature. He's a carpenter by trade but he seems to be enjoying his time working in the kitchen. Maine provides quality meals to their temporary guests. I know Goose & nature plan to fix up older homes for resale when he gets out but it seems he's learned some cooking skills for many people at one time which may help him land a job in a catering business or in a large hotel/resort or anywhere still serving buffets. Considering where he is, nature's in good spirits. So in the spirit of Christmas, here's a story..
In every Post Office there is someone assigned to decipher illegible addresses & a letter was addressed to God which was immediately opened. It read....
"Dear God, I am a 83 year old widow living on a very small pension. Yesterday someone stole my purse. It had $100 in it which is all the money I have until my next pension check. Next week is Christmas & I had invited 2 friends over for dinner. Without that money, I have nothing to buy food with & I have no family to turn to & you are my only hope. Can you please help me?"
bastards at the Post Office."
Hope you enjoyed the story & wish you all a happy holiday season.

The postal worker was touched by the letter & showed it around to all the others. Each of them dug into their wallets & came up with a few dollars. By the time he finished his rounds, he had collected $96 & sent it to the old lady. Christmas came & went. A few days later another letter addressed to God was received. All the workers gathered around to hear the letter. It read...
"Dear God, how can I ever thank you for what you did for me. Because of your generosity, I was able to fix a lovely dinner for my friends. We had a very nice day & I told them about your wonderful gift. By the way, there was $4 missing. I think it must have been those thieving bastards at the Post Office."
