Sportsbook.com SUCKS!

This is a thread for you guys to bitch about how much you think sportsbook.com sucks!  Come on, I know you've got some good stories. 

About a year ago I made a $50 deposit (first time customer) and ended up winning a bounty tourny and after some sports bets got it up to about $2000.  I cashed out and they sent me a check in the mail that ended up bouncing.  When I asked that another check be issued they told me they would put the money back into my account and that's what I did.  I tried again.  Same exact thing happened.  Basically sportsbook.com takes forever to pay out and half the time they send  you a bounced check (for me it's 100% of the time, but I've read on sites like sportsbookreview that some people get paid and MANY others don't).  What's sad is I'm still playing with the money that I made from a $50 deposit a year ago.  I've got about a G in the account and it might as well be Monopoly money.  I know I'll never get the money but for some reason I keep gambling like I am going to get it lol. 

i had about 300 in there and went on a sick 40 minute run playing multi-player blackjack and roulette.

i felt like every 100 dollar bet i made i won, and more than a few times did i hit BJ with a table-maxed bet.

in roulette things were similar with hitting back to back to back #s and once i even had 13 bucks on a # and it hit; payout was like 450 or something.

Anyways so after my insane run i racked up 2000 bucks. I decided to cash out everything.

I thought I verified my address as they requested with a copy of a utility bill and drivers license back in Dec '08 but they got back to me after a few days saying I needed to send the documents again. Sure, no problem, whatever... I just want my money.

Two weeks later, I get another sportsbook.com private message telling me the documents were illegible and they were not able to make out my address. LOL. total bullshit on their end because I took a picture at 8 mega-pixels with my digital camera (on macro). I was so pissed off but I still wanted my money asap and so I pretended that nothing was wrong and i sent them the SAME photos of my documents. I got their auto-generated reply email that a representative would get back to me with further updates in a few days.

Another two weeks go by and I get no update so I go on their website to speak with a "live customer support" chat convo. I tell the support person what my situation is and they told me that I must wait while they run my email through their database to see if they EVEN received my documents. I wait literally 20 minutes and finally they tell me that they didn't find any of my emails AT ALL in their database which is total BULLSHIT because I received a notice from them that my pictures were illegible weeks before!!! So I demanded an email address for the documents to be sent AGAIN for the third time and finally they tell me that they got the email and that they have forwarded the docs to their "verification dept".

The next day I FINALLY received an approval email for address verification. This is what it reads:

Date:	Today at 09:25AM EST
Subject:	Withdrawing from your account

We are pleased to inform you that your withdrawal verification is now complete. We have been in contact with our withdrawals department and they have confirmed that any withdrawal requested will now be approved and added to the queue for processing. You will be contacted with confirmation once it has been sent. The general processing time for checks is approximately 4-8 weeks. We appreciate your cooperation and we apologize if this verification process has put you at any inconvenience.

I immediately requested all my money withdrawn ($2000) and am waiting for a check (supposedly 4-8 weeks) that i chose NOT to be sent by courier (should I have? the additional costs was like $40).

Now I am just waiting. This entire process of JUST the address verification took two months and hours and hours of arguing/stressing/writing.

This all happened before I came to covers forums and found out that their fucking checks BOUNCE. I am so worried that this will happen after literally almost 6 months of waiting. I'm crossing fingers that the check is legit and I am so glad that I am taking all my money out of their site.

I bet Sportsbook was thinking they would give me a crazy rush of wins ($2K to be exact) only to have me continue playing and lose it all. fuck that i am packing up while i'm on top....

Sportsbook really was a pain in the ass with that verification stuff.  I had to send scanned and faxed images a good 3-4 times before they accepted it.  I so far though have always gotten paid.  Good luck with getting your money.  You probably will eventually get it.  I use the debit card now and it is much quicker.

Simply log in, click on "My Account" and then click on the withdrawal history link. Once you have done this your full withdrawal history will be displayed. Once we have the tracking number for your withdrawal this will be added to the withdrawal history section in your account. If you click on this number it will bring you to the relevant website to track the withdrawal for yourself.

if the check doesn't bounce life will be good.....

final UPDATE:

My check came yesterday, Saturday from sportsbook.com and it seems that an AMERICAN bank has processed this check (via. Wachovia bank).

Looks legit folks. I am happy to say I am fortunate to actually get my money out.

Sportsbook.com is good shop. I made sure I had all necessary ppwk sent to them when i opened acct. and I got my first withdrawal via wire in 4-5 days.

Nothing but good things to say about sportsbook.com as they have fantastic amount of betting opportunities.

The same I cashed out 11/29... My money was there today.

PLEASE I AM   SURE SOME PEOPLE DO GET PAID ......SO DONT PEOPLE IN A PYRIMID SCAM UNTIL IN GOSE TO SHIT ...THE RUN THEIR WEB SITE LIKE A SHADY HUSTLER IM  SURE FOR EVERY PERSON THAT GETS A CHECK THERE IS ANOTHER ONE THAT JUST DEPOSITED .? HOW IS IT THAT IT TAKES THEM 1 DAY TO VERIFY DEPOSITED $$$$$ AND MONTHS TO VERIFY  WITHDRAWS ????

Just like just about every reputable book does, sportsbook.com has you send in paperwork (proof of bank acct)..I made sure when i opened my acct in august 2009, that i emailed all ppwk (took 15 minutes), was peace of cake and i have got 7-8 withdrawals all in less than week.
