Well... 10 times the big blind is a fairly big raise coming from UTG, it probably seemed to hiim that you were trying to protect your pocket pair and of course with him having a J with KJJ coming out, he will definitely call your raise. Then after the turn another J came out and he went all in, I think you should've folded. Tough fold though.

there are some missing details here, i.e. first raiser preflop, how many callers, was there a reraise preflop and after the flop, etc.
That being said, going all in for $600 in a pot that appears to be around $200, I think you should have folded. You got one-outered but he practically told you he had quads

He could have had the other King, as guys will way overplay their full boat like this, as they think it is unlikely anyone has the last Jack. It would have been tough for him to fold on the flop, and a tough fold for you on the turn, but if the pot was 200 at that point, you could've chucked it. There is no real right play here, just very bad luck on your part

With no read on the guy, I'd call. Most guys would slow play quads. He did the opposite and it paid off for him. If you lay down the second best hand every time you get bet into, I don't think you can make money playing poker.

if the guy with quads checked on the turn, you probably would've bet, and you're trapped chasing the last king in the deck, so there was no way to really get away from the hand for you.

Why would you bet the flop filling up like that, dream flop for you. If you check like you should've you bet the turn. If he goes all in than you get get away from the hand and fold since not that much money in the pot.

this had to be online..that shit happens 12x every hour
Exactly, im guessing that it was after you played for a while, made a decent profit, then the software kicks in to rig you up with a hand no one would fold to clean you out so you would have to rebuy, correct? oh well, play on these rigged poker sites and thats what happens, to EVERYONE, probably your opponent had just rebought. All the sites are rigged the same way. Only ONE person in the whole world makes money on the rigged pokersites, chancep, he is so awesome! LOLLOLLOLLOLLOL

It's early in the night and you guys are sitting with $800 in your stacks, is this a no limit 1-2 buy in game. Stack size in this situation makes a difference? Based on your description there's $140 in the pot, and he has raised you $540 on your last bet, probably fold, but it's all relative to your stack.
I play Omaha though and the fourth jack is usually out there, so I would fold.

In my opinion, 60 or 80 is way too much UTG in 1-2. I agree that you should have slowed played them. Either way it is tough to lay down a monster like that

I think that was a horrible call. He raised it preflop and the guy called. He obviously didn't have junk. He hit a pair of Kings and TWO Jacks came up....the guy called his bet again! You really don't think he has a Jack at that point? He slow played you. In that case, you have to fold. He's not going to call your two raises with nothing.

in my opinion. if you won this and posted your win 95% of the people here would say "nice call" yeah you'd be an idiot for folding" if you rased flop he could of had AK or maybe AQ or trying to slowplay AA there for if the flop was KJJ he would have the K with A kicker or if he had AQ then he would be on a str8 draw or he could have called the pre flop rase wishing to bluff you.. anyways i don't think anyone here would fold that hand. (mabe online if they were poor) but real game. no way. I'd have to say nice call even though you lost.

Wendy..do you know alot of ppl who raise 270 BB's with a PP smaller than kings when the board is K J J or K J J J ? Why would you put him on that?
Now Im not saying I would of gotten away from that hand [although that is a huge raise] but why would you put him on a PP smaller than KK?
You're totally right. As I read your comment, I tried to imagine what I was thinking when writing that comment.... I must have been hungover is all I can think.
Looking at that hand again, I think I would have put him on AA, AK, or a bluff.

Well looking at the pot I'd personally wait for a better spot. Why would he bluff knowing you might have that Jack? really does not make sense on his part. He had to have had the Jack
