First....dead stacks
He was under the impression that dead stacks got removed after the 1st hour (3 blind levels 20 minutes long). After the hour was up he brought it up to the dealer (and players) that the dead stack remaining at his table should be removed but it wasn't. His main point was it could be used by cheating players who are in collusion with each other and he also brought up a few other reasons.
Second.....buying into a tournament
The dealer said the stack in question was 'bought' but the player never showed (up to this point). My friend raised the question if the player wasn't there how could he/she have bought into the tournament? He was told the stack was bought over the phone.
This really got his attention.
My friend then went into the fact that that is illegal because it is essentially bookmaking.
My friend was told by players at the table and the dealer that people reserve tournament seats over the phone at Foxwoods. The difference being they pay for the tournament with a credit card over the phone at Foxwoods while at this place in NH they don't.
I sent an email to Jeffrey Toth at Foxwoods and was told that you need to have proper ID and the credit card used for the purchase and must present them at the registration desk before getting into a Foxwoods tournament.
My question is does this guy have a beef or not because he has the authority to do something about it. I don't have the correct answer for him and I'm hoping someone here does.
