lol now ur "not gonna waste your time." All you rigged guys are the same, spout your bullshit, then when you get proven wrong youre "not gonna waste your time." You say we both have our "opinions" but really yours is a false belief that the internet is rigged and that noone wins and mine is "fact" that it isnt and that many people win. I have statistical evidence to back my "opinion" up and you just have a bunch of bad beat stories.
Ive seen you here for a while and I know youre an avid sports bettor and a good guy. It just pisses me off when people like you come on and start spouting bullshit about something you have no idea about and the arrogance that you display while spouting your stupidity on the topic is just all the more ridiculous. The thing is, when I first started playing poker I felt the same way you do. I watched it on TV, played the home games, and went to the casino often and thought I really knew how to play. I mean, how could I not? Id watched every episode of the WSOP on ESPN!!! Just like you have!!! So every weekend it seemed to be the same bullshit story online, do great all nite and then take some ridiculous beat at the end of the nite to go bust. I figured "oh well, I play awesome I just always get fucked." I was gonna quit playing cuz I figured it was rigged or I was just "too unlucky" or both. But I keep seeing these same guys winning over + over and I knew who they were (aka not "schills" or "bots") and it just made me think "what the fuck are they doing that Im not?"
So I joined a training site (cardrunners) and watched some of the videos of how the "pros" played and realized I really didnt know what I was doing. Not even necessarilt the big pots I was butchering but so many little things here and there that all add up. Basically just a different way of looking at the game, realizing its a grind and not just something you can "go sit down for a few hours and make $ kicking ass" I started managing my bankroll, not playing over my head, NOT STEAMING, and you know what I found out? ITS A FUCKING GRIND AND YOU GOTTA REALLY WORK HARD TO MAKE A LITTLE BIT OF MONEY. Your edge as a "winning player" is not nearly as big as people think it is. I play 1-on-1s for my money and my goal is to win 60% of my matches, which is great. But if I asked the avg guy how many times they think I should win theyd say 80, which is ridiculous since aces are only an 80% favorite over a random hand basically. Then I started reading the books and visiting the poker forums and discussing tough hands and how to play them and such. So many of these situations come up daily and the vast majority of players will continue to misplay these situations leaving them at the mercy of the one "beat" that destroys them. All they'll remember is the beat but they dont remember how they misplayed a few hands earlier and maybe they wouldnt have been in that spot or would have a big enou8gh stack to withstand the blow, etc etc.
My whole point is this. If you wanna be a consistent longterm winner at poker you gotta work hard at it. Watching WSOP on TV and playing in your buddies garage every friday with 8 other shitty players doesnt really make you "elite" as many of you feel. If youre not winning at poker over a descent sample size then youre just not as good as you think you are, PERIOD. Noone "runs bad" forever. Myself and a few friends of mine have really worked hard at poker to get where we are, albeit not ballers or anything but winning players, and its just very irritating when people come on with their little to no experience online and wanna tell me "how it is." Itd be like being an auto mechanic and having a guy come in who had changed oil ONCE and telling you all about your prfession. Itd be ridiculous but thats basically what youve done here Powerade. Imean seriously you said youve played "once." How in the world if you were me and had the experience and results I do online react to such nonsense? Some clown who has played once is telling you "noone wins online" when youve crushed fulltilt for almost 60K the last 2 years??? Its like "gimme a fucking break." Then you spout about needing proof, I provide, then all of a sudden you "dont wanna waste yourr time." Pretty pathetic to say the least man. Everythng you said is total hogwash, I proved it, and now youre acting "above the discussion" Like I said, laughable.
Not trying to get into a pissing contest with you. I just wouldnt go the NHL forum or wherever you hang and start spouting about this and that cuz I lost my ass once when I was clueless on the topic and thats, well, pretty much what you did here. Im sure you prolly "dont have time" anymore this but oh well. We all know you would have had I not provided "evidence"
