FanDuel made a tweet stating: "Y'all gonna see tonight, it's gonna be a lot of shots."
They followed up with: "About to go absolutely hammer the over on Anthony Edwards' 26.5 points line ."
Anthony Edwards finished with 26 points and did not shoot in the final 3 minutes of the game, except at the very end.
This behavior is blatantly manipulative and violates federal law, specifically 18 U.S. Code § 1343, which prohibits wire fraud. Additionally, days before this incident, Covers, associated with ESPN and FanDuel, removed all public consensus data for the NBA.

If you ran to the window to bet his Over after reading that, just stop betting. You're a stooge. I was gonna bet the under just on principle but I don't do player props and I also didn't want to start by overreacting and making a contrarian play for the heck of it.
You wanna know how many times guys guaranteed they would win and lost (happened so many times in NFL)?'
It's not like he pulled a Jontay Porter. He just missed a lot of shots. Took 11 in the first half. Even tho he did start the game throwing the ball away, first minute or two of the game and he did the exact opposite of what he said he would do and exactly what cost them the game last time.
The end of the game before should have clued you in he is a clown of the highest order. If you didn't already know that, you should have at least known he is a scumbag not to be trusted.
Hey at least that bet didn't cost you 100 grand like it did for him to force that girl to abort his baby.
Instead of taking his word for what was gonna happen you should have said 'Hell nawl can't do this!'

something was up. they was giving it to mike Conly and 0-8 kat, down 2 with 3 mins left he didn't touch the ball. he was their leading scorer sitting on 24 with the game on the line...
watch the game replay and really pay attention....

Your argument is misguided. While players like Anthony Edwards can indeed comment on their intended performance, the issue here extends beyond his statements. The actions of FanDuel may constitute a violation of the Sports Bribery Act, 18 U.S. Code ¡́ 224. This law prohibits any scheme in commerce to influence, in any way, by bribery or other corrupt means, any sporting contest.
FanDuel's tweets could be seen as an attempt to manipulate betting outcomes by promoting insider information and encouraging bets based on privileged knowledge, which undermines the integrity of the game and the fairness of the betting process. The law specifically addresses such activities to maintain transparency and trust in sports and betting markets.
Additionally, the removal of public consensus data by Covers, associated with ESPN and FanDuel, further exacerbates these concerns by limiting access to critical information that ensures a level playing field for all bettors. This lack of transparency can be seen as a tactic to manipulate betting patterns, which is inherently unfair and potentially illegal under the same statute.

X app is working with fanduel to remove tweets and post currently. Might be looking at a big RICO and collusion... something is up.
Would you stop clowning yourself. There is no case here and nobody is going to care about a bunch of degens getting suckered. Do you also want to sue your parents because you now know Santa Claus isn't real?
There's literally a post on fanduels twitter page saying the 3 most bet props tonight were all Ant Over props. They're not worried man.
The guy who lost 100k cuz he couldn't pull out or use a condom with some ho is not the guy you want to take financial advice from. I'd rather take advice on viral infections from Rudy Gobert.

Guys it's almost like betting became legalized because all these companies want to seperate gullible men from their hard earned cash.
Man. And here I thought it was all being done because it was going to make life more fair for the common man. It's almost like these big corporations cannot be trusted and do not have our best interests at heart. Shocking.
Be sure to write your congressman and tell him about this. They need to stop worrying about the bombs being dropped by Putin and Israel and start worrying about the bricks being fired by some dumb jock. I think it's also quite possible the rim had a magnet in it because KAT couldn't hit a 3 all game. I think they also greased Gobert's shoes because he couldn't stop sliding around when he tried to guard anyone away from the basket. And now that I think about it, are we sure that's really the Twolves coach. He got carried off the court a few games ago and now he doesn't know not to put a 7 footer on a guard. Could be a doppelganger. Maybe Doc Rivers in whiteface?
The plot thickens...
