I only see one common theme in the newsletter the last 3 weeks or so, and it's you guys leaning the Bears and even betting on them!!!

I'll have my thoughts on the game later. I warn you that those 3 games where they played well vs those 3 teams is fools gold, I'll prove it.

I reckon that stopping Joe Burrow and company will be tough, but this is great news for the Broncos. We should look at what level of defenses the Bengals have faced this year. This could be their toughest test yet 

Hey all, when drafting the newsletter I was going by what my book was posting. It looks like they didn't have the Saints/Raiders game up at the time, so I inadvertently left the game out. I wonder why you guys didn't say anything? (They have it now, but it's unbearable with no lines posted.)

Anyways, that makes 2 games where there isn't at least one team with playoff implications on the line.

I'll share thoughts on that game later. For now, I'm going to slip back under the covers and let the family noise exist without me.

Panthers +8.5 seems like a decent bet...they been better since Bryce return from benching

TB is good but I could see panthers being respectable...or with 8.5 backdoor is open late

 Great post bro!! Finally ahead of things to do with Xmas and sip on a bevy and absorb keen knowledge. Seems like the whole family has come home to roost. Covering off 3 hotel rooms @ the Best Western as my contribution. This time of year and Canada Day nice to see everyone migrate back. I decided to slow my wagering down a bit as I have 14 futures riding to Feb 6th. If I see a loose line like that GB 1st half @ -7.5 last night I will post!!  Merry Xmas everyone!! PS: someone mentioned the green bean casserole/salad. Not a fan

Yo I had the same feeling as you when I saw the line. But then I stopped myself to think why is it so high?

And it could very well be a spot where Baker and Friends rack up a ton of points on this shitty Panthers D. The Bucs are very night n day.

That loss to the Cowboys shouldn't be so shocking to us. The Hugh's came in winning 3 of their last 4. Now they've won 4 of last 5. Where's the motivation coming from, they are just ruining their draft position. 

I love the Panthers, they've been so good to me. But I'm not going for the bait here!

 I'm sure she gets rave reviews!  Never a fan of that dish, thinking it's a texture thing. When it gets passed at the table I send it forward and wait on the dressing and gravy. Was hoping a cousin I grew up with would of accepted the invitation as the Randy Quaid  guy was missing from the table. Either way the place smells great.

If you think it's all the o line's fault. 

This kid isn't throwing interceptions because he's not throwing the ball. He's taking sacks instead. And if you've watched him play all year(like I have), you'll notice that he's not getting clobbered on these sacks. He knows when to go down and protect himself. 

I just wanted to mention this because I have a ton of friends sending me Caleb Williams stats and trends. My rebuttal is that he's not acquiring these #'s when it matters most. A team doesn't lose 9 in a row on accident. This team is ALWAYS playing from behind. Sure there's a lot more pieces to the puzzle, but this is one that not many are talking about.

 Seahawks (-3.5) @ Bears

I feel like I haven't placed more than a single bet (if that) on each of these teams all year, so your guess is as good as mine. There is a zero percent chance of a Wild Card berth for the Seahawks. So what do they gotta do to make the playoffs? Well, they have to win a division in which the soaring Rams are in the driver's seat for. They'll be mathematically eliminated from winning the division (thus, making the playoffs), if they lose to the Bears and the Rams beat the Cardinals. The latter is a more likely outcome, so they will need to win just to live another week with an outside chance at making the playoffs. What do the Bears have to play for? Nothing other than the role of spoiler. The Seahawks O-line has been struggling and without a consistent rushing attack, it's hard for me to think this is a slam dunk play on the Seahawks. i tend to pick faves, but this is a game where I could possibly back the Bears. They've lost 9 straight, but take away all of their away games, and they're a .500 team. The Bears have O-line issues of their own, but the Bears somehow seem to hang with some of the better teams and lose admirably (Lions, Vikings, Packers) in some closely contested games. I lean Bears at +3.5 and will expect to get an earful from Sac.

Just for these 3 games you are correct. Much different landscape there. Eberflus was still the HC, more importantly the d coordinator for those. Thomas Brown was just elevated to OC for those when Waldron got fired, a move everyone tended to agree on. Brown was up in the booth calling plays for those. Since being elevated(once again) to HC, he's been on the field calling plays. I think that's made a world of a difference(for the worse).

A known radio figure and ex player John Jurkovic was adamant about this when Thomas Brown was named HC. He kept asking over and over, "is he going to call plays from the field or the booth?" Waddle and Silvy were kind of making fun of him at first, but now everyone is giving him credit for noticing that.

Cardinals without 2 starting tackles and Conner and the number sits at 6', but if the sucker gets to 7 with reg juice i'm taking them. It's not like Rams offense has been a powerhouse, they have scored 2 td's in the last 8 qtr's. ICON did you get the 3 ?

Placed a blind bet with absolutly no handicappingh for some action and I have no CFB knowledge ...but this is all you need tonight

Chargers@Patriots O42(-115) *1.00/.87

It's hard to believe that the Patriots overs are 5-0 in their last 5 games, but they are. Drake May is slangin around the rock, there's no pressure on him, just play football. The Patriots D sucks, they are far from the Belichick defense that we know.

The Bolts vaunted D isn't what it was just a few short weeks ago. The Eddie Jackson signing is a huge red flag. They are paper thin at safety. Derwin James Jr is currently their starting free safety and starting nickel back on the depth chart. Last I checked you can't play both unless they're using only 10 players on D.

JK Dobbins back at practice. They're not sure if he plays yet but it's a good sign. I like what I saw out of Herbert vs the Broncos, a pretty good defense.

The Patriots defense isn't much to worry about, albeit a great effort in keeping Josh Allen looking confused. I think they used up some energy/effort vs that divisional foe.

The Chargers on 10 days rest.
