Had a few weeks off and now we are into the real crunch time. 36ers by far the leagues best team in the NBL. The WNBL is all over the place. Congratulations to Ramanujan for your nice hit mate last night on Adelaide. They got their maiden win last weekend and have now won 2 in their last 3 and their youth players are starting to gel. Should be a good team next season if they can keep them all.
So tonight's game we have 3 across both leagues.. Motivation is the key this weekend IMHO with only a handful of games left.
Sydney Kings @ NZ Breakers: NZ ML
Taking NZ tonight. They got embarrassed at home last time they play in NZ by the 36ers. Kings first road game in almost a month which is just amazing. NZ staying at home since their last game and then head out to Brisbane later this week to take on Bullets and against their old coach who knows them well. Kings in 4th, NZ in 8th yet NZ are favs? Bit of double revenge in this game. Newley still out for the Kings, massive loss and that has been shown in their recent games. Penney knows Lisch very well so that will be a fun match up. NZ have the inside presence to stop the Kings big guys. This NZ team are a tough team when push comes to shove and I think they can win this game to hold onto some playoff hope.

So my good buddy Ramanujan took them last game when they played on the road and asked for his money back as they were shocking and I agree. They were pathetic. Well, Lemanis has had 2 looks at this Hawks team and I rate him as a coach and I think they can keep this game close with Beal showing up tonight

Brisbane Bullets @ Illawarra Hawks: Bullets +5:5

Thanks for the support mate.. Rare to find nice people like yourself on this site I did like Bendigo in the WNBL but not enough to back them vs a Flames team that is rolling big time..

Don't believe the hype around Taipans.. This team has won just 3 games from 21 road games outside of QLD in the past 1.5 seasons. Melbourne embarrassed by Randle and the 36ers last night. Melbourne can now leapfrog Sydney thanks to NZ early today. This play will even be better if Brisbane can beat the Hawks right now as they will put the pressure on Melbourne. After this game, Cairns head to Perth as well after this game so their season IMHO is done after this weekend.

Taking this line early tonight..
Cairns Taipans @ Melbourne United: United -4.5

If it wasn't bad enough being beaten by the team that is coming last, it would be even worst to lose on their homecourt against their rivals. Both teams have been in opposite directions this season. Boomers terrible, Rangers decent and coming 1st. This is their 2nd last home game for the season and a win is needed if they want to keep control of this league. They have a crazy 3 game road trip coming up even if its against Adelaide, Boomers and then finish in Perth. Two of those games are winnable but Perth is a hard place to win. Anyways, I am counting on the Rangers to really show up tomorrow afternoon after their dismal game last week. They have had plenty of time to regroup.

My bad, late post.. Didn't realise these games start to early on Saturday
Townsville Fire @ Canberra Capitals: Under 148.5
This is the highest total released in this little series. Both games have gone over this total and the first 2 game totals were at 143.5 and 144.5. Now we get both teams in a massive clash as both these teams need a win to catch up with the top 4. Expect some big D in this game.

Top of the table clash later tonight as well with Adelaide taking on Perth in Perth. Martin is back for this clash and since his return the Wildcats have turned their season around. Just shows you how much he is worth to this team. Looking into this game now.

Haha yep I will lay chalk when necessary.. Amazing to see a team cover a -10.5 spread in 5 mins of OT...
The total in the Canberra game didn't make sense at all to me, 4 points higher as the first 2 meetings went over. Both teams do play pretty slow so there was bound to be an under in that little series.

Aussie the Cairns Perth match is in Cairns. Do you think Perth are value at around evens?
Hey buddy, missed this post as I wasn't betting the rest of the weekend. Perth blew it big time and are now 5th. The next few weeks is going to be purely based on who wants post-season or not.
