Been a long time since I've last posted any plays on this forum for the NBL. Got a good feel for this league & hope to share some winners as the season wind down and teams are jostling for playoff spots. Forum seems dead here, so hope to see some old regulars or new punters drop by to say hello or share some thoughts and or plays. Our mission is to beat the books.
Here are my plays for this Wednesday Night
1. Over 43.5 1Q NZ Breakers @ SEM 1.95
2. Over 85.5 1H NZ Breakers @ SEM 1.85

Terrible start to the round going 1-4. Last night's totals were never even close.....Kings offense stinks right now & they are in threat of missing out on a playoff spot if they don't fix this problem asap. The shoot out at the jungle was a good preview of the grand finals to come.....united showing that they can outscore the wildcats in a high scoring affair.
Totals have been brutal so far but I'm confident it'll turn around sooner rather than later, just happens to be catching teams out of form at the wrong time I guess.
1. Over 44.5 1Q Sydney Kings @ Brisbane Bullets
2. Under 166.5 Melbourne United@ Perth Wildcats
Friday's play
1. SEM Phoenix -5.5 1H v Cairns Taipans @ 1.80 bet365
2. SEM Team Total 1H over 45.5 @ 1.80 bet365
These are my strong plays for tonight and hoping to cash them both.....lines represent value at a good number that i'm happy to pay a little bit of juice for. SEM playing for a playoff spot in the top 4 whilst Cairns have nothing to play for to end the regular season. Sykes returning from injury seems to be getting back to form & both him & Creek's performances will decide how far their team will go in the playoff's. Cairns is just not a very good team made worst by the departure of Cam Oliver. They have conceded double leads to their oppositions in their last 5 games hence our plays on SEM. SEM has too much firepower & will be focused on piling up the points leading into the half and a strong victory. Don't mind taking SEM to cover the full game line -10.5 but liked the 1H line more.
Stats: SEM avg 84.4 PPG (allowing 87 PPG) v Cairns 76.6 PPG (allowing 86 PPG)

1H Team Total Over 45.5 Melbourne United @ 1.85 this play had every chance of hitting had it not been due to the sloppy plays & turnovers by United. They scored 41 pts with 2 mins till HT & hits just 1 basket to land at just 43 pts going into HT. How frustrating was that?
The HT live bet, over 174.5 was
Record 4-5

Tonight's game would have been a huge play on 1H Wildcats -7.5 if this was not their 3rd games in 5 nights. Fatigue is a real factor here for Perth with all that travel & having played two tough games against United & the Bullets in Brisbane on Saturday night, so it's only a lean or small play at best. Perth is just a far superior team against the cellar dwellers Taipans who have been trailing by double digits AT ht in 6 of their last games.
