I really like the look of Lithuania to cover, USA to cover and the over in the USA/Brazil game
We are on the same mindset Peekay. I dived into that match-up about 30 mins ago and it shocked me to see that Lithuania were -3.5 vs the Aussies, lost S/U and then the Aussies were laying -23.5 vs Dominican Republic, didn't cover and now we get the Lithuanians laying -16.5 against the Dominican Republic which is almost 7 points less than the Australians were laying and yet the Lithuanians were fav's against the Aussies the other night?

I'm playing the angle that Lithuania are a bit frustrated at the other days loss to the Aussies and will come out breathing fire.
What better way to do that than against a relatively poor Dominican Republic team.
I also really like the over in the USA game; whilst Brazil have some fast/athletic players in Barbosa and Caboclo, there is no way players like Huertas can keep up with Kemba and Mitchell. We all know USA can easily put up 90-100+, can brazil contribute the remaining 60-70...I think so.

My only concern is the USA have really ramped up their defence the past few games. They're quite locked in to playing aggressive D rather than just overpowering everyone with their offence.

After what I saw in that game vs the Greeks, I cannot play another over unless its in the lower 150's for the US. Like you said mate, they have locked down on D and in truth, this is probably their 3rd string team. BOL if you take that over but I just cant.

I can never take the under, because if the USA decide to run and gun they'll put 110 up on anybody, then the rest is just a formality.
Brazil haven't been playing slow; unlike other teams who stand at halfcourt for 20 seconds then throw the ball 6 rows back into the crowd.
I'm not in love with it, but it does make for some enjoyable late night viewing

Aussie have you noticed any trends, particularly with Over/Unders, related to the time the games are played?
It may sound silly, but the latest game starts at about 8:30pm local China time - this seems awfully late to begin a sporting event.
Are players just zoned out by then?

Lithuania vs Dominican Republic: Lithuania -17.5
Never like laying massive chalk but the Lithuanians have had a disappointing WC so far and I think the pound Dominican Republic in this game. See them winning by 25+

Hey Peekay,
I haven¡¯t noticed any kind of late night trends like you have mentioned. The overs I play are generally based on a formula I have been using on all the FIBA and Olympics for quite some time now. Both men and women. Around 18 months ago I really gave up on unders because lost bets (NBA mostly) due to overtime or the lovely free throws we see at the end of some games. The last minute of a NBA game can last for 10. The formula is solely based on overs now.
GL with that over mate, hopefully Pop decides to open the floor more. He didn¡¯t use Tatum in that Greek game?

Joining you on the Lithuania game as mentioned earlier. GL to us
I believe Tatum had a minor ankle injury picked up in that Turkey game but he should be right for this one.
I'll probably know by the end of the first quarter if I'm in with a shot or Brazil are going to struggle to crack 50.
I was going to say the first 5 minutes but if you saw the start of the USA/Greece game they came out like an absolute house on fire. That got put out quickly...

Hey Aussie
what do you think about the over between japan and montenegro
Both are eliminated , and out of contention for olympics seedd...the spreaf is too high for Vucevic and his compatriots...
leaning the over as I think we see a loose game with both tea pushing the pace and playing decen offense to finish the tournament

Mate I don¡¯t have any lean on that game. We have see Japan also score very low in the WC already with heir poor game against the USA. Not sure which way that game will go

A close one but we got there in the end with Lithuania
my only other play is on USA/BRAZIL over but this is more for my enjoyment than anything else

I¡¯m not sure of all the permutations with the Czechs losing by under 12 points to Greece.
Does this mean if Brazil beat USA by more than 22 points then Brazil can advance?
That will never happen, but it may help them push the pace

Sometimes its just the lucky button. I got Greece/CR over 157. Just we you thought its way under, Greece and Czech fighting for quotient in the end. Lol. Greece up 9 and started fouling.

Peekay I wish you the best on that over mate, I¡¯m taking another approach to this game
USA vs Brazil: Over 81.5 1st half
Think we see a first half with plenty fans scoring opportunities as the US team has been quite slow in the 1H recently. Only reason I am not playing the full game over is in case of a blowout where scoring can die down but I do think Brazil can show up at least the 1H
