One question, you say sides.....can I assume closing spread at game time?

I am in officepools NFL contests, etc in large groups and we go by Wednesday spread at 8pm and its set for the rest of the week no matter what happens with weather, injuries, etc

It is run by covers so I assume picks are available up until kickoff.  Lines move just as a normal book does.  Its not one standard stale line for early in the week.

 So, if lines are available up until kickoff and this is run by covers, I assume then someone could get say a -13 Sunday night or Monday when the lines open and someone later in the week if they want it might have to take -16 if they still think its good?

They will most likely run this when you see the line and time stamp but we all may have different lines on one game if we chose it at different times and there is a lot of line movement

 This is how covers runs the king of covers college contest so I am assuming this is how this contest will operate too. This is my first time operating an office pool. 

Its for free so just play and figure it out on the fly.

So, bragging rights?

Yes this season is bragging rights.  Next season I might be willing to take this to another level.  

To be honest though if its winner take all or top 3 people will stop playing.  Hassling people to pay is a who other thing.  

I would like to chip in money weekly if one goes a week with 0 wins they would buck in to a pot.  Players with 5-0 weeks would split some of that money with a portion of all weekly prizes also held for the seasons over all Champ.

The problem is also finding players with tameless and integrity. 

We could have a great contest with the proper attitudes, but we as a whole on the forum have a bunch of turds with no self control and cry baby mentalities. 

If we are competing for contest prizes that say covers has donated that's one thing.  Asking people cooperate using their own dough is another. 

I am open to ideas, but first lets enjoy the season.  Build this up, and nextt season everyone chip in $20 as an example and have weekly prizes and a jackpot.  

Maybe 5 picks isn't enough, there are things we have to uncover about how this operates.  we will have a strong footprint so to be deal with a cry baby having an issue I was unaware of.  Right now I am exposed.

Free for now and lets work this into something.
