Maybe situation betting? If a good team goes on the road and then comes back home sometimes that home game turns into a loss v a crap team.
Know the crap teams, sj sharks, anaheim ducks are terrible and rarely win. They do win some though so be careful.
See which teams are on streaks.
Know Carolina started off great and now are hitting rate of 50 / 50 lately.
Ducks play lotta unders.
Wild play lotta unders.
Carolina unders. Oilers unders.
Pens and over is a fun auto 2 teamer seems to hit often.
Panthers n over also fave auto 2 tm.
Odds can get pretty high so learn how to take the heavy fave at -1 or -1.5 puckline and use parlays at times w these heavy lines. Or take the opponent from time to time they lose w a whopping 325 odds.
Keep in tune w injuries and trends. Avs were ass early in the year and now got some of their top players back and a rolling.
Vegas is a top team this year.
Notice when a decent team has a losing streak and figure its gonna be over soon and they will come out mad and kick ass.
This should get some good discussion. I am learning and eager to see some posts.

Know which goalie is playing..sometimes backup goalies are gold and sometimes they get drilled and remember why they are backups.
NY Rangers have been keeping goals down against their opponents but have been losing. Maybe they are over the hill.
Wash Capitals have come out winning huge. They lost Ovechkin to a serious injury and he was killing it ready to takenover from Gretzky. They still have a good team and keep winning.
Winnipeg Jets started off on an incredible run to open the season. They might cool off and regress to the mean rest of the year.

Home teams off a 1 goal loss is like 60 some % in believe.
Sometimes I wait till 1st period, 5 minutes in to see if that team shows up or stays on the bus.
Put Teams into these 3 categories.
First Tier Teams (A): Winning 60% or more of the time (Above Average Teams = High Public Confidence = Lower Returns) Team record of 7-0, 6-1 or 5-2
Second Tier Teams (B): Winning between 50% and 59.9% of the time (Average Teams = Moderate Public Confidence = Medium Returns) Team record of 3-4, 4-3
Third Tier Teams (C): Winning less than 49.9% of the time (Below Average Teams = Low Public Confidence = Higher Returns) Team record of 0-7, 1-6 or 2-5
When it comes to C-type teams, those with a win record of 50% or less. It's generally more favorable to consider these teams when they're playing on their home ground.

Every morning check ESPN NHL standings. Great thing about ESPN is in the standings the last column is the streak column. Good, above average teams off three or more losses can basically be martingaled because good teams do not stay down on the deck long. Same for lousy, or below average teams who are miraculously on a three or four game winning streak. They rarely sustain their winning ways for long and will ideally come up against another lousy team so you don¡¯t have to pay the ridiculous juice when they inevitably lose. This may seem like a naive and childish way to approach capping pro hockey but I assure you, it works VERY WELL for me. Good luck
No need to outrun the bear...just the next slowest guy
