Because the angle, I do not see. But it¡¯s the NFL. Maybe a little regression for PITT after 5 straight wins? Last two weeks being battles

 Yes, it¡¯s more of a fade of Steelers.

However, I don¡¯t think folks are factoring in that Cleveland can attain the #1 draft pick. Would not be surprised if they lost by 3.

under was the play when it was 41.  at 36.5 you've lost a lot of value.  

some snow does not equate to unders.  LOTS of snow and LOTS of wind do.  so be mindful of that.

You're talking about two long time hated rivals, the dog the last 10 is 6-4 ATS. Cold, wet night, Steelers coming off a huge home win now OTR against a team with nothing to lose who despises you. This will likely be decided by one score or less, Steelers play close games, good defense but mediocre offense. I have the Browns on the back end of a two team teaser with Houston so no need for me to play anything else but +3.5 or +4 is definitely in play tonight. Expect a hard fought, ugly game, the uglier the better for the dog pound and maybe even a couple fights in the stands!

I¡¯m on Browns ML.  The angle for me is division game.  Pitt has played one, last week, and if not for washed Justin Tucker Baltimore wins that game.  Russell Wilson is also 7-24 with 2 ints and 0 TDs in the red zone.  That was his downfall in Denver and last few years in Seattle.  Horrible red zone efficiency.  He can still throw a mean moon ball but the warts are starting to show.  On a short week in a letdown spot I¡¯ll go to the dawg pound.  Good luck yall.

28, 26, 37, 32 are the last "four" Steelers totals removing Baltimore (which was 18).

So they can score and while it'd be easy to dismiss Cleveland, Jameis can be a gunslinger wild card.

A close game is within my field of vision, but I can't personally spend my money on the Browns.

If you like Pittsburgh, then like them and bump it to -6 @ +150.  Also getting great value for Jameis over 1.5 passing td at +245.

I see a couple angles for the Steelers. 

They are now playing for a first round bye and they have a brutal schedule coming up. @Cinci/Cleveland/@Philly/@Baltimore/KC/Cinci. That¡¯s the toughest schedule for the remaining Division leaders. This is a MUST WIN game against an inferior opponent. I do not like betting teams I don not think will win.

As a Denver fan, I hated the guy for several years thinking he ruined the Broncos. It wasn¡¯t him, it was Nathaniel Hacket as we can all see now that dude sucks. Nepotism at its finest. This is a veteran leader who has won two SB¡¯s and played in another. He was a winner at Wisconsin, Seattle and now Pittsburgh. Is he who he was? No, but give watched a lot of Steelers games and he has played well. They just can¡¯t let him run the ball too much. 

I don¡¯t know if you copper in the Pittsburgh¡¯s last weeks game, but they inserted Justin Williams and the last couple minutes so that he could run it and get a first down which he did. That was the first time I saw them do that this year put the clutch time and field his hands and he delivered. Everyone knew he was gonna run. He ran and got it. 

Kevin Stefanski>Mike Tomlin by a mile. It is trued the Browns have nothing to lose, and Stefanski is most certainly on his way out, possibly before the end of this year. How would the Steelers feel if they came to town and just put an ass whipping to the Browns and then the coach got fired the next day? Pretty fucking good. Stefanski will go for it and the Steelers will stuff them and they will score late because they will be down and Stefanski will do dumb shit. 

Jamis Winston is going to have to throw for 300 yards tonight for the Browns to win. Good luck with that. 

If I were a Cleveland Brown fan, I would boycott this game to send a message. It¡¯s the perfect moment. A shit weather day with a storm off Lake Erie for a Prinetine time game? I would stay home and watch the game. Browns fans that go to this game don¡¯t understand how bad their team is and how bad their ¡°offensive guru¡± coach has been. They have scored over 20 points this year ONCE! The only reason the Browns won that game is because Marlon Humphrey dropped a ball thrown right at him that would have sealed the game. Pittsburgh isn¡¯t doing that on National Television. 

Mike Tomlin is 27-8 in Primetime Games. The dude is such a competitor he tripped Jacoby Jones on a kickoff that was a sure TD! His excuse is BS. I never seen a coach do that ever in my life. So just know if someone is running down the sideline for a game winner and it¡¯s on the Steelers sideline, Mike Tomlin is making sure that man goes down.

 Nice writeup, I agree with most of it, but I disagree with characterizing this as a MUST WIN game for the Steelers.    IMO the only ¡°must win¡± games are the ones that eliminate you from the playoffs, or qualifying for the playoffs.

as for the Browns¡­¡­this is a classic high/low play, a Steelers team coming off a big win traveling to a division rival who got crushed in the last couple of games, on a short week, and giving points in a location where they¡¯ve lost the last couple of meetings.   If I¡¯m laying points with a division rival as a visitor, I like to see that they¡¯ve won in that stadium at least once in the last 2 years.

I don¡¯t like this game much, so I¡¯m gonna give it a miss, but I lean to Browns

Nice writeup and I truly agree with the majority of your points , and there is little doubt Pittsburgh is the better team and coaching staff.

A few points, I see...

Pittsburgh had a hard fought game against divisional rival Baltimore 18-16 

Cleveland have the most wins by any team against the Steelers, with 62 wins.

The Steelers just won their fifth game in a row, pulling off a massive victory against the Baltimore Ravens

Since Pittsburgh hired coach Mike Tomlin in 2007, the Steelers are 1¨C7 in Thursday Night Football on the road. Three of those losses were to the Browns. More specifically, Pittsburgh is 0¨C7 since 1980 when competing against AFC North opponents on the road on Thursday night. 

This has the feel of a close game that could go either way, which is not what a matchup between an 8-2 and 2-8 team should normally be.

And there you go. When you have a big division rivalry game, the records and stats just don't mean that much. And the Steelers still haven't won a road division game on Thursday, 0-8. Congrats Brown backers 

The angle is bad weather can be a great equalizer. Everyone is slowed down by it and being faster or stronger doesn't make you immune to slipping in it at the wrong time. It's hard to predict who will handle the conditions better but in general it will blunt the faster team's speed and just level things out so I always lean to the dog. Once had a favorite in a horse race and the heavens opened before the race. Several horses were scratched including a few dangers but mine was still in and I thought he would walk it, he got chinned by a horse he had beaten by 16 lengths in a prior race because they were both just crawling through the heavy ground at the end.

I'm happy for Jameis I thought that fumble and pick had doomed his team as was usually the story with him. He tried to give the Steelers a gift and they blew it.
