Would still like to hear why it was played like that in this instance? Getting the hook last night was huge, easy to say now but all week I was thinking it would be a field goal game either way at the end.

I get that it lowers the juice but in this case getting the little bit of lower juice cost him winning more money 1.25 units which isn't much but it all adds up in the end.

Exactly the juice also costs on wins/losses (depending if you bet to win 1u or if you always flat bet 1u)

Most definitely it does. There is one member here in particular that uses a win/loss to keep a record but is constantly buying points so his wagers are always juiced up. It's a good way to hide some things when wagering that way.
