Just because favorites won does not mean books lost  "Sharps" do not only bet dogs they bet favorites as well  IF it was that easy to take dogs and unders everyone would be rich  The  lack of intelligent and critical thinking here is astonishing  "Bet against the public" "ride with the books"  what a joke 

Yeah who could have guessed that some weeks more favorites win, some weeks the dogs cover and lo & behold some weeks its fairly even. Amazing.

 Believe me, no one knows what the sharps are betting.

Well the refusal to take these "dogs" on the ML coupled with "buying" it down is what's astonishing.

But I'm tired of hearing "who are you to tell me how to bet"

The true problem is this forum the lack of long term posturing.

I see, so a lot of bettors justify their picks by inserting this is a sharp/wise guy bet.

My mentor:

Subtle line movement that isn't explained (injuries, scratches, etc) is sharp movement.

So not always, but you can see what sharps are playing.  Usually you see it early in the week when they shape the line and then within 30 min before kickoff.
