Here they come out of the woodwork after the game is overĄafter one of the worst collapses all season by any team. I cashed both of my bets tonight, just so you know. TheyĄ¯re both posted in my weekly thread. Where IĄ¯ve had three winning weeks in a row now. But thatĄ¯s not the point. The thread was about stupid coaching decisions that Campbell was making. The same way he has for years now. And any intelligent football fan has seen it as well. IĄ¯m not on this forum to argue with people. Been there done that. The best part about the game for me is that I have futures on both teams to win their divisions. Det +135 and Hou +105 before the season even started. And when those tickets cash, IĄ¯ll collect a nice stack of money probably equal to what you guys earn from your jobs in 3 months. WhoĄ¯s the f*ckin clown now?
qb had 3 ints so why try to force it

@brn2loslive2win lol. No doubt. But Dan Campbell is a great coach. Bullskit. Dude cost them last year against the Niners. HeĄ¯s a terrible game coach
I disagree. The guy plays to win. Both of those 4th down calls the ball hit the WR in the hands and he dropped it. Both times. Enough for a first down each one. He catches those, the lions win and Campbell is in the Super Bowl. The guy is an excellent coach. A leader of men. Hired a bunch of excellent coaches. Has created a great culture and oh yeah they are 8-1.

If he is afraid to try a run play, to avoid a TFL, why not try a look downfield?
Yes, the QB has 5 INTs, but really he had only one INT --rest were on a hail mary and tipped balls, etc
I don't know why everyone has ignored that...
The FG kicker had never made a kick beyond 51 yards, and Campbell is asking him for his longest kick ever.....
And NOONE has questioned why he gave up the last down.
The cameras were on him the entire time, and he told the ref he was going to call time out with just a few seconds left. I think he loses his patience for the game.....he wants it RIGHT NOW, and this revealed itself . His kicker came through, to bail him out, otherwise they would be talking about the loss of a down to move the ball, maybe work to the endzone and forget the FG.
I hate nurturing for a FG. I like games to end on a TD, but Campbell is saying here, I trust a FG kicker to kick out of his range, more than he trusts Goff to make a safe pass downfield.

He had 47 seconds left and a 3rd and 7.
Why does he not try to get a little bit closer?

These are EXACTLY the types of decisions as to why I brought this conversation up. Some of the simpletons on here will say Ą°well he canĄ¯t be that bad, they won!Ąą. They won because of a complete meltdown of the other team. And sure, you can credit the defense for tightening up after halftime. But if Stroud doesnĄ¯t throw an awful interception towards a wide open receiver in the endzone, that may have been the dagger for Detroit. If you re-watch the game and just pay attention to critical decisions in the game itĄ¯s not hard to see that the Lions did some really silly things. Winning in that situation, while making those choices, was a gift.

Never made a FG over 51? Yet he just made a 58 yard FG the possession prior. Did you even watch the game? Try for the end zone and forget the FG? NOBODY would do that ever in that situation. Whatttt? Tell me you had - 3.5 without telling me you had -3.5.
Some of you are truly clueless. If you noticed 2nd down they ran the ball to get it to the hash the kicker wanted.

it'll just take the right team that can play a full game to beat them. lions are 5th worst in pass defense on the season. the next 3 games are cupcakes. they have gb, minny, and buff later on and all those are at home. only hard game left is 49ers and 49ers will prob be banged up to hell by that point.

No doubt the lions will walk into the playoffs no problem and probably with home field advantage. It will be interesting to see if these odd coaching decisions will be to their detriment when they get there. The reality of the situation is this- if they happen to meet the Kansas City Chiefs in the superbowl, you can be fairly certain that Andy Reid and his staff will call a nearly perfect game. And as weĄ¯ve all seen in the past, when you get in that position, one poor decision could be the difference between hoisting the Lombardi trophy and going home to hope that next season is the oneĄ

I said the same thing at the beginning of the season that it will be coaching decisions that undermine the lions at a costly moment(s). and if they play chiefs in super bowl no doubt it'll take a perfect game. last 2 super bowls chiefs were down 10 and 7 points at halftime and were able to outscore their opponents by 13 and 10 points in the 2nd half. in the first super bowl they outscored their opponent by 11 points in the 2nd half. not sure lions can play a perfect game and coach a perfect game at the same time in the biggest game of their lives.

Another clueless poster that loses over and over and just blames something..... I had Houston ML and Denver ML LARGE and they looked good but hey thats gambling. Still had once again another monster winning weekend.
Nope. Wrong again. You, like many of the other idiots on this forum are just bored and looking to go into someoneĄ¯s thread talking shit and offering nothing.
I was 2-0 in posted plays on this game in my weekly thread. Also a great victory for my Detroit division future at +135. And not to mention the ideal outcome considering I have Houston division winner at +105, which would take a total collapse to become a loser. Another winning week for me for the 3rd straight week now. Now go join the rest of the covers haters as you are useless as always. Goodbye.

I love how abuncha addicted gamblers are arm chair coaching and nitpicking an 8-1 coach who's completely turned an entire franchise around in under 5 years. As a life long lions fan, anyone who can't see the brilliance and determination of Dan Campbell, I don't think any of you should give opinions on football ever again. Until you can take a team with a history riddled with brutal losses and atrocious seasons and change the entire environment of a city. I don't think you guys have the qualifications to nitpick hindsight calls

I bought the 3.5 to 3 early in the week and bought 1/2 point to under 50. I can say that was the most unbelievable 1-0-1 in my history of sports gambling. Love these LIONS and DAN MFING CAMPBELL!!!!!!!

It sounds like sour grapes to me. They were on the wrong side, so who better to take it out on? I say sure as hell not Dan C. He's turned the loser LIons into a really good team, easy one of the SB faves. I'd be surprised if they didn't at make the Big Game. I'd suggest they simply fade 'em the rest of the way. EZ money, right?
The hospital? It's a big building with patients.

Obvious non pass interference call on the Texans last drive was massive. Lions look Superbowl bound especially if they are going to benefit from friendly whistles in crunch time
