49ers defense will man handle the Packers and overrated Rodgers. I don¡¯t think it will be even close if there¡¯s no funny business with the NFL officiating.

@jdmoney14
The 9ers needed a miracle to eliminate the packers. Punt return , fg miss and a blocked punt the packers special teams hand delivered a win for them .
Bottom line , Packers improved defense defense vs Purdy . I wouldn¡¯t bet your house

Total agreement here. Against Green Bay they¡¯ll be a 4 point favorite vs the Giants they¡¯d be laying 10 Just mind boggling who pays these people millions of dollars to make these decisions lol.

I can promise you one thing, coaches don't spend their days cherry picking who they'd rather play in the playoffs, they don't care. They'll prep just as hard regardless of the opponent. As for SF potentially playing GB in the playoffs, they only people who'll have anxiety about that game will be the GB fans, the first words out of their mouths will be "Oh Shit, the 49ers."

The 49ers haven¡¯t won shit in 32 years. The way people talk about them is like they¡¯re the 2nd coming of Christ.
I can tell you one thing. Beating Green Bay is very possibly, but advancing further with a rookie QB named purdy lol good luck with that one .

Steve Young won one since then(1995) and there have been multiple Super Bowl trips in the last 10 years. Sprinkle in even more NFC championship games. Today, they still have a top 3 roster without a franchise quarterback. The Niners are better than you are much speaking of. You sound like you are referring to the Cowboys.

On paper, they're very good on both sides of the ball, it's no surprise should they make it to the SB. Purdy has led them to 5 straight wins, 10 TDs, only 3 pix. Not all "rookies" are created equal, he's the real deal. That being said, he doesn't have the game situation experience of a Tom Brady or Aaron Rodgers, that could come into play. But he has an excellent supporting cast, the 9ers are good whether you believe it or not. Let's not forget they were in the SB 2020. They were probably better than this team but ran into a young gunslinger named Mahomes, who would have likely beat many great teams from the past that day. Getting to and winning the Super Bowl is dam hard, people sometimes forget that. Alot of really good teams have never won it. Who do you think will "cut down the nets?" I'm sticking with Buffalo myself but just getting out of the AFC is difficult enough. Big game tonight, and a possible playoff preview for sure. GL in your plays!

Bingo. Not sure why this is flying over the heads of most.

better for SF to get the 2 (and possibly the 1) and have 2 home games instead of traveling if they win Round 1.
there is also the option that SF plays Seattle Round 1 which would be a gift for them. Det is playing well enough to beat GB.
GB is no doubt playing good ball right now but SF is playing better.

Exactly.....it doesn't matter who they play in the first round (NY GIANTS/GREEN BAY/DETROIT/SEATTLE), the Niners will beat them all. Green Bay cannot stop the run and have cornerbacks who tend to give it up against higher ended competition. The defense will manhandle the offensive lines of any of these teams and make life miserable for any QB they play. They are fairly healthy and will get Deebo back for the playoffs. They should rest him this week, as playing at home against a terrible Arizona team is almost a gimme (there are no gimmees in the NFL). With that being said......I would rather play the Giants than the Packers. It should come down to these two teams. Detroit does have a solid chance to beat GB in GB, but until this franchise does anything like that and can prove it to me, I will error on the side of GB. The Giants could beat the Vikings in Round 1. Cousins is not a leader. He is a good fantasy QB (except for yesterday), and when he has to be clutch, he is anything but.
