Good morning! No losses yesterday going 3-0-1. It was a good day, but I really wanted the 4-0 sweep…missed it by half point.
For today, I have just one pick and one more on the radar based on potential line change. For now, here’s the pick:
OKC Thunder +3.5 (-110)
I’ll be checking back later around 5-6pm on the lines and may have some a game or two to add. I love this pick and don’t want put in more games unless I’m confident with the selection and the line.
As always, tail or fade. Good luck!

To respond to some of those who left comments about the points, I take the line as best as I can early in the morning to take advantage of the spread. My advice if you miss that line is to either buy the half point or whatever the difference is (as long as the juice isn’t too high), or just wait and try to get the same line (or better) live. The worst is when you take the pick and try to save money on the juice and then lose the entire bet over a point or whatever the difference is.
FWIW, I was eyeing a few totals in other games but I don’t find the right line and so the only bet I had today was on OKC +3.5. I’d rather get one solid bet in than bet 4 games and lose 2. The idea is to make a profit, not really in it for the thrill of betting for the sake of gambling.
When I only have limited picks like tonight, I just bet them a little heavier than I normally would based on the strength of the game. For example, my typical bet is 500+the juice (so if it’s -110, the bet is $550). Since I only had one bet for today, I took OKC +3.5 for $1100 ($1k + $100 for the juice). I will never bet more than 2 units on any game because I’m about distance, not speed. If you bet it right, you’ll be in the game for a lot longer than betting it all on a game and praying for the best.
Anyway, sorry I didn’t respond to some of you sooner. I’m a criminal defense attorney by trade (if you couldn’t guess by my handle) and I was in trial all day today. I didn’t get a chance to respond to a lot of your folks before tip off. My best advice is to check the site by no later than 9-9:30 am EST. I’m up pretty early working on the bets before going to the office for my real job and try to post before getting to work.
