Bob Marley & the Wailers, The Smithereens. Strange combo, but I never listened to a bad song from either of those two bands.

Great choices Jose. Love both those bands.

For me and it's very difficult to pick just two The Rolling Stones & The Clash (close behind are The Beatles, The Who & Zep)

Saw them eons ago at the old Cape Cod Coliseum. Their energy was infectious. The whole double album 'London Calling' was a masterpiece (#8 on Rolling Stone's Top 500 albums of all time). It perfectly blended punk rock angst with new wave pop listenability. (Is listenability even a word? If not, it should be).

Good video that's been one of my favs for a long time. I've recently been listing to The Smithereens since your post. Never paid too much attention to their music it is beautifully orchestrated with meaningful lyrics. Great stuff. Got through the first disc and now on their second Smithereens 11.

I always liked the Pretenders.Never owned any of their stuff but would never turn the dial when they came on.
