I liked it a lot. I kinda knew I would. I dig historical movies. And I really like biography type of movies.

I liked how a production could turn a movie about a personal struggle with speaking into an award winning film

Kick Ass. - not usually my thing, but this was well done. Girl who plays Hit Girl is going to be a major star.

The Accidental Tourist - repeatedly had to fight the urge to hang myself. Perhaps something eventually happens in this film, but I couldn't make it all the way through to find out. I generally like Geena Davis, who won an academy award for this role, but thought her character was wholy unbelievable. In fact, the whole thing is wholy unbelievable. Ick.

Barney's Version - - not sure what to make of it. There's lots to like here, but it doesn't really add up to much, and there's really nobody to root for. Dutin Hoffman, however, is great in a small part.

Iron Man - good premise, well executed. Frankly, I have a bit of a man crush on Robery Downey, Jr.

"Before the Devil Knows Your Dead" I'll give it a

Great acting,kept me on the edge of my seat in some parts, kind of slow in other parts.Plus some nude scenes with Marisa Tomei which was a nice bonus.

Animal Kingdom

1 of those dramatic,crime flicks that grabbed me from the beginning and wouldn't let me go.Can't wait to see this Australian movie again.

Everything Must Go - Will Ferrell. it was alright. more of a character study than any big motion picture. I liked it

Your Highness - 4 out of 10

Pretty terrible movie. Had a few solid one liners...but other than that I just couldn't get into it. For some reason they were dressed up as old time British Princes...but were fighting modern type of villians? You would really have to love Danny McBride and James Franco to like this move.

50/50 - 8 out of 10

Very surprised by this movie. Not at all what I expected from a Seth Rogen movie. Had enough funny parts to keep the comedy side happy...and enough of a great story to keep everyone else happy. Also had a personal touch because of how cancer has taken several family members from me.

A Good Old Fashioned Orgy - 6.5 out of 10

Could have been better, but certainly could have been worse. Hot chicks and an orgy is never that bad of an idea...Nick Kroll is always hilarious, even though he plays a tool for most of the movie. Still liked it.

recorded The Boondock Saints (1999) off IFC the other night. pretty good, but a bit rar fetched (esp at the end) "mob war" themed action movie . definately worth watching and I'm looking forward to seeing The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day (2009) sequel when it's on a movie channel
