Have you tried expedia.com travel packages. From Minnesota it is often cheaper to book air and four nights than just the airfare. I am going April 18-22 and paying $316 for round trip air and four nights at the Four Queens. The deals are fantastic if you can do Sunday thru Thursday or Monday through Friday. I'm in my mid thirties so I don't care about hitting the clubs anymore. Me and the lady like to have a few nice dinners without the mad weekend crowds. Also nice to be able to walk up to a craps table and step right up and start playing.
Cleveland June 13th-17th is $377 air and four nights at the queens. Harrah's, Bally's or Bill's G-Hall are all around $430. If you simply don't give a shit where you stay Vegas Club is only $358. If you are young buck and want to go out to the clubs and look for some trim, then this doesn't help you much. But if you just want to go and gamble on baseball, and throw some dice, then Sunday thru Thursday or Mon-Fri is the way to go.
When: Not set in stone but we're looking at Feb 28-Mar5, for my birthday.
Hotel: Probably Excalibur, hotel is unimportant since I'm wandering the strip constantly.
Air: $30 each way Dulles/BWI to Vegas. My bro works for an airline, get passes on quite a few airlines. Standby of course. All my trips to Vegas are usually last minute, lets go to the airport and hope we can get on deals.
I haven't seen anything cheaper than like 350 for flights from Minnesota...we don't package it all together because we have a couple friends who can get us cheap/comped rooms who live down there.
I love the fact we're flying in around 12:30 am Sunday morning on Valentines day...and not checking in till later that day. Just gonna cruise the strip all night...alittle nap at checkin time...repeat. I can't wait! Just booked the flights yesterday!

Ed, I'm heading out at the same time. Where are you staying? We are staying at the Flamingo. Plan on hitting some clubs, maybe some strip clubs and hanging in the sports book.
A buddy I'm going with is unreal during conference tourney time. We went out 3 years ago and he was spot on. We kept track of his picks and he hit 18 of 22. At one point he hit 11 in a row. Too bad we are only $50-100 players. I did hit a 6 team parlay $40 to win $1600 tailing his plays.
The past few years we have hit the Greek sportsbook during tourney time and while he hasnt been that hot, I bet he is over %60. He does not bet much during the season but come conf tourney time he is ready to roll.
Anyway if you get your flight look us up in the Flamingo's sports book. My buddy is easy to spot. He is a 6' 8" Italian who answers to the name of Mac.
Wilbur, I will be staying at the Flamingo as well. Friend of mine has all 4 nights comped. He goes out there for work periodicly and is has been known to work all day then stay up all night drinking topshelf booze and playing $100 a hand blackjack.
We should meet for dinner one night while out there.
