I'm going to Vegas with some friends for NFL opening week-end and I'm "JACKED" First time out there. We'll probably stick to mainly Sports Betting, College and NFL. However, I'm from Windsor, Ont. and we have a Caesars down here and they used to have this game...It was an electronic / magnetic horse race game that used to take up a very large section of the Casino. It had a plastic bubble top and the horses would magnetically (race) around the track. It was a quarter minimun bet and you could bet on a single horse bet, or play exactors, and trifectas, and of course win. place, or show. They would list the odds before the races and you had 45 seconds or so to lay your bets. We used to play that thing for hours, and on occasion do pretty well.It had about three levels of seating, and television screens to watch the races on. It was really cool but they eventually got rid of it and put many slots in its place for obvious fiscal reasons. Anyway, sorry about the long winded description...but I'm just wondering if any of the Casinos out there have it. We're staying at Harrahs so I'll be able to check there. Thanks in advance

I know exactly what game your talking about. It was upstairs near the doors to the smoking area. I am almost positive no one in Vegas has one anymore because we checked before a trip out there about a year and a half go. We were trying to find it for my father, I thought he was going to weep when they took the one out of Windsor.

Father Feel Me Up (By the way that's creepy just typing that...any issues you might need to address kind sir!) - Anyway, thanks I'll check out the MGM Grand. You might want to stay away from the confessionals!
abadrumer - Cool...Are you from Windsor!? Anyway, I kind of known how your Dad feels. That game was alot of fun...and at times could be profitable. How did your Dad do on it?
Thanks Guys

We all appreciate your romantisism, but dude, no offense to your woman, but if you want to have fun next time go with your buddies. You'll have a better time.

No, not from Windsor, from down by Toledo, Ohio. Used to go to Casino Windsor all the time before the passport deal. My father used to kill that game. I don't know how he did it but it was hilarious watching some of the degenerates that used to congregate around that machine like they were at a real live racetrack, drinking coffee by the gallon, chain smoking one of the end of another, stomping around cursing after they lost like the jockey just stiffed them on the ride. Classic. It made for great people watching.

Yep, was there a few months ago too and MGM has a smaller version of it I think...just 1 row around the track for people to sit and gamble on the plastic ponies. Looked like fun, never played because it was usually pretty busy.

Thanks for the heads up guys...I'll definetely check out the MGM Grand and look for the game.
And Crazy8s2, I guess I may not have been to clear. I'm leaving the ball and chain at home, and I'm actually going with three other buddies. Guys week-end...I'm going to try to re-enact a couple of scenes from "The Hang-over." What sucks is I kind of look like STU, so I may "Lose a tooth and marry a person!!"
That being sai "Which casino has the hottest drink girls, or the least scantilly clad. The reason I'm saying this is 1) I'm way to cheap to pay a $20-$50 cover charge to get into a tittie bar that is "topless" only. I come from Windsor, which is the Tijuana of Ontario. All our strip bars are fully nude with a zero to $10 cover charge. Plus we have all kinds of fully legal escort services, and massage parlours, and we have a Caesars Casino...wait....why the hell am I going to Vegas!? Honestly, I'm happily married and would never pay for sex, but I wouldn't pay a $20 cover either. I'm sure there are a ton of babes I can see for free walking the strip!

I will be at MGM this weekend myself. Every time I head to the book I will now be looking over to that horse racing contraption wondering "is eddie from covers over there?"
PS after you see vegas my guess is you will spend little time "at the races"

O.K. now for the drink girls, go to the Wynn they are by far the best, only problem they don't come along as often as you would like. But Steve Wynn has another establishment, called the Bellagio, and the girls are still good to look at and they come around often.
