Info. on Harrahs Las Vegas????

I like Harrah's. The casino is not too big where you can find people. Sports book is small. Women should like piano bar & outside bar with live music & bartenders that throw bottles around like the cheesey Tom Cruise movie Cocktail. If you're comp'd & you haven't been there - give it a shot.

 The "Party Pit" used to open up late & you'd get some hotties boozed up on $1 Michelobes from Casino Royale next door stumble in and start gambling. They're always fun to BS with @ a $5 or $10 table.

Mirage is right across the street - It is right in the middle of the action.

the sportsbook is like an OTB. Go in make your plays and leave or go bet somewhere else.

Ive been ther for the final 4 in basketball with opening day in baseball..The weather was like 75-80 and great sports on TV..Great time to go..

The best thing about Harrahs is the location. I have 3 comped nights there in September, got the upgraded room for $10, newer room, flat screen tv's even in bathroom. Pool is terrible, casino is smokey and old but not the worst on the strip. But hey Mirage is just across the street.

For for you can hit the piano bar with the dueling singers but the one in NYNY is so much better. Just outside the door from the piano bar is Carnival Court, awesome place at night. The juggling flame bottles, they have a great house cover band and a great dj who spins hiphop/top 20 stuff. A great mix of music.

If you really wanna go cheap you can go next door to Casino Royal with the $1 Michelobes but the casino is aweful. Go out the other side past Carnival Court and you have a fun place called O'sheas, its an Irish Pub/Casino, cheap table games and cheap beer. They even have a midget leprechan mascot.

watched the Ravens/Patriots game at harrahs - was nuthin special

walked across the road to the Mirage to watch the Packers/Zona game and they had an outdoor patio set up (at the entrance closest to theyre sports book) with numerous tvs, great atmosphere  

Here is a little pearl for you. The steak house there is decent enough and it is never full. Stand in line for those Vegas Show 1/2 places and you can get a pretty good deal at the steakhouse there with a coupon. Harrahs aint much but it is solid. Try to get one of the updated rooms which may be worth another 20 to 30 bucks a night

If you are getting comped at Harrah's I'm sure you can get comped at their other casinos. Rio is the best. All suites. I even like the Flamingo better, I'm comped there for 4 nights Superbowl weekend. They have a very nice European pool(nude)
