Going to Vegas this weekend...

staying at the Vdara all weekend...should be a blast

any must do suggestions?

If there just for the weekend and wagering is your main focus, then pick one place and settle down to be able to think about what you are doing before you lay down. BUT if you are downtown then you can hop around from sportsbook to sportsbook very easily to get the best price you can on your games.

FYI, For you or anyone ever going downtown, w/ the specific interest of watching games at the Golden Nugget, save yourself the trouble. It is a very poorly designed layout and there are many much more enjoyable viewing locales on the strip. The strip is for sportsbooks and downtown is for chasing the best numbers.

I gamble plenty year round, its not the main reason I'm going...going to have fun and experience the city

you want to experience the city, go to the corner of sahara and las vegas blvd and head north , east and west 3 miles and see the true scum in the las vegas community , and its been like that for years.

Going back on the 23rd, I can't wait! If your staying at Vdara check out the Aria sportsbook. Huge screen tv's in there and it's usually not busy. If you want free drinks without betting go to Bellagio sportsbook. I've watched a ton of games there before and you don't have to place bets there to drink for free. Shots of patron anyone?

IMO if your doing sportsbets, I've noticed the Orleans on Tropicana has the best lines. It's a short cab ride but will pay off with easily the best lines around.
