Drinks in Vegas Casinos?

Do any casino's offer free (alcoholic) drinks as long as you're playing? Does this apply to the poker room/sportsbook? Thanks in advance, guys.

Yes, as long as you are playing they will offer drinks. Don't forget to tip well because that will set how often the waitress comes around. And depending on where you go, you may find some low quality booze.

Only two Casinos are worth mentioning as far as the Books go. The Bellagio offers free drinks (Liquor included) and the Hilton offers free drinks (beer).

Some of the other Books will provide you with a ticket if you ask once you place a wager. The tickets will be a limited amount unless you have a status there.

If you want to drink for free I suggest you go to the Bellagio.

I've heard a lot of good things about the Bellagio sports book. I'll most likely go there. Planning a trip for March 11 - 15. Can't wait.

MGM says it comps drinks at sportsbook but never been going for opening day Ynaks vs Red Sox

It's all true.the bell. sportsbook looks like shuttle mission command.Nice comfy leather seats,it's dark but clean and the eye candy aka cocktail waitresses aren't too shabby.

Table Games - You're fine - just tip as outlined before.

As far as the books -Venetian can be good too - just tip the girl. We used to go to the IP during a lull in the action & collect our thoughts for the next round of games. Any bottled beer you wanted was OK as long as u tipped the girl & played a $2.00 wager on the ponies.(that probably wasn't even necessary)

Avoid Ceasars if u r lookin' for free booze. $100 min for a drink ticket. I ordered a drink & the old skank said I had to be gambling - I reached in my pocket for 3~4 $20 plays & she told me to get bent & go up to the window to ask for a ticket. Screw that!

If your there for the tournament you better get to the book about 6;30 am for the 9;00am games!!!!!

TI offers free drinks...and they come around maybe twice in a 90 min? Just make sure you tip, and they'll find ya. Only reason I watched games there was because that's where we were staying. And it was 104 degrees, so staying put for the afternoon wasn't a bad idea.

Appreciate all the help, guys. What poker rooms do you guys recommend. Nothing too baller, probably just some 2/4, 3/6 limit. Maybe a tournament or two. Drink free while playing poker?

I was just at the Hilton book, they do free drinks with liquor as well. Stayed at the Rio once and they do free drinks as well at the book.

When you place your wagers at the sportsbook, you must ask about the free drink tickets. Some places like the Rio and Palms, if you can just show you've wagered on a game they will serve you a drink. However the Palms service sucks in the sportsbook if it's not a weekend. It's always an effective strategy to stick a 20 in a nickel blackjack or poker machine, play it slow but get the waitress' attention. You'll only be up or down a couple of bucks. And if you are up, you just made free tip money for the waitress. A good rule of thumb is to tip at least 5 the first time to ensure they keep coming back and 1-2 for each subsequent drink depending on the service. It's a good way not to break your pockets but also to be generous to the employees.

Also, at the Station casinos if you place a decent size wager, the sportsbook will give you stacks of drink tickets.

What about the MB? I haven't been down to LV in 5-6 years but I remember sitting in one of the little booths with my own monitor (playin ponies) & stacking up free Heinekens & shots in there. I just ordered every time the gal came around. Do they not do that anymore?

I've been to Vegas 5 times and have placed wagers in a dozen or more sportsbooks. By far the best has been the Bellagio. As long as your sitting in the sportsbook you can drink for free without tickets and the waitresses are HOT!! The Wynn is my next favorite to watch games but you need to ask for drink tickets after you bet. There's suppose to be a minimum amount but they're pretty leniant about it.

Hilton is free drinks and u dont have to gamble, can sit there all day. If there is a remote chance they ask for a wager ticket they are all over the place so pick a few up and your off

Go to Casino Royalle and pay for your drinks, 1$ Michelobs AND 1.50 for any other domestics...the place is there for you to drink....never takes long to get a drink !

my understanding is the waitress's pay the tax on the drinks

anything you tip them is there's after they pay the tax.

and they dont get an hrly wage.
