i have recently been playing craps for 17 weeks straight weeks. i have had 4 losing weeks and 12 winnig weeks. and even about 1week  this is the only game in the casino you can make money in. 

first of all you have to learn how to set your dice. get comfortable with how you grip and how you throw. be CONSISTENT with it. you can control your outcome of dice but you can be consistent on how you throw and thus will make you a better shooter.

second know when the table is cold or hot .. you have to feel the flow of the table.  when its cold no matter who is throwing the 7 comes out faster than normal. if it does you gotta go witht he donts. but dont make that a habit cause u will get killed. if the table is hot know when to press and take down bets. 

third look at the players around you. if you see some bettors pressing too much and you better pull back those are usually signs of bad bets. whenever you see field bettors make last minute bets the 7 comes out faster. trust me on this.   if you see a person laying on the 4 or 10 go ahead and make a place bet on it.  it will usually hit 75 percent of the time which is good when it pays 2 to 1. 

fourth understand your BANKROLL.  i always go with 3 to 4 thousand. anything less is hard to win money in. do not bet more than you afford. i start with 25 pass and 50 behind. with 25 place and 25 come bets.  and if im up i start pressing. 

fifth and most important remember its to have FUN. yes you want to win money but when you make it only about money that is when it becomes stressful. i drink i joke and i love throwing the dice

 

here are some tips on dice good luck.   if anybody lives in houston area and drives to lake charles let me know and i can show you live how its done.  just wanted to share this with people.

JLT...you need to make a visit to Shreveport...my fav place is the Horseshoe...100 times odds...so it's nice to bet $5 and have $100 odds...food is excellent and great comps...

yeah i been there couple of times. i prefer el dorado though. yeah i just won another 5000 over the weekend.  i love craps going again this saturday

Very nice JLT....do you usually take one day trip and go home or you stay for the weekend??? Craps is my only game too and i agree with most of what you said...however..i can't seem to play the don't..i usually walk away when table gets cold...do you move to different table often or you just stick with one and grind it out???

im going again to lauberge du lac this saturday. i ususally go on saturday and drive back sunday evening. 

i will probably be in dallas next weekend for work so i might make the drive to shreveport.  hit me up and we can go throw some dice.

i was up about 1000 on sunday until lady shot the dice for 43 minutes

i cashed in 300 and walked away with 4000.  its always nice to walk up to a table with a hot shooter

i will continually to go until i have bad back to back weeks. so far it hasnt happened yet so we will wait and see.

when table gets cold i play the donts but not for a long time. if its really bad i switch tables and sometimes this helps

Craps has the lowest house advantage of any table game....1.14% if you do your pass line bet and take the odds behind that bet(equal amounts however)....

As good as your subjective advice is about hot/cold tables, etc...the only thing that matters is the percentage; because there is no way to, objectively, deal with a subjective matter.

The only time that someone else's bets matters is if you are sitting at third base in blackjack and you have idiots in front of you...which is your fault in the first place......

How you stand when you throw the dice has no bearing on anything...especially if you are not throwing the dice....

Just remember that 1.14%, set a loss limit/win goal, stick to it....If you could beat ANY table game over time....then there would be NO casinos....anywhere

you guys just mad cause people out there can actually play patiently and make a little money. i am up over 28000 just playing craps for 18 straight weeks now. i am going to continue to go until i have losing back to back weeks.  if you talk with people who go to the casino all of the time they willl say the only game you can win money is craps.  go ahead and laugh i never said it was a "SYSTEM" just merely a feel for the flow of the game.  and i never said you can control the outcome of the dice but you can control how you place and throw the dice in one motion all the time to get consistency.  laugh all you guys want but its been a great ride for me and i will continue to go. i will update you guys continually and let u know how i do. just wanted to share that info. anybody is welcome whoever lives int his area to meet me there .. blackjack if you play with donkeys then you will lose no matter what and any other game in casino the house has huge advantage over the players. good luck with whatever you gu ys play

Son, I was not trying to make fun of what you were saying.....simply pointing out the facts. Luck can have EVERYTHING with winning...OVER A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME. However, as you say "trust me on this"...The KNOWN percentages of each bet at each table game is what makes the casino it's money....and, once again, 'trust me on this"....they DO NOT lose money over the long run.

 

too many times i see last minute field bettros change the split second a shooter about to throw the dice or the dice hits the money. i know its a superstition but i have seen it happen to many freaking times. more than less.  i am not saying field bettor HAS A DIRECT CORRELATION WITH THE SEVEN COMING OUT but i BELIEVE they change the way the shooter throws the dice and timing which thus changes flow of the shooter.  like i said i am not advertising this strategy just giving information on how I HAVE been making money at the craps table.

here is exactly how i place my bets fyi.

first 25 pass line.  lets say the 5 is the point. i then place 50 on the 9. and 50 behind the passline.  and make a 25 come bet.

lets say the 7 comes out. you lose a total of 100. which is bad.

if a 6 comes out i then place 50 odds and 25 come bet.

if a 9 comes out i then place 80 odds and collect 35 back

at this point i have 3 numbers working if i think the table gonna keep rolling i make another come bet if not i will just leave it at that.

if the 6 comes out i will then make it 75 odds and take back some cash. 

if the 6 comes out again i will take down my entire bet and place 30 with a 25 come and so on and so on.

every now and then i place hardaways and throw in some horn bets entirely up to you or hop bets are always fun. 

REMEMBER the object of the game is patient not everybody will roll dice well. some will seven out the minute the point comes out some will hit a couple of numbers and seven out and some will roll plenty of numbers and then seven out. remember PATIENT you will catch the hot shooter the minute you arrive at the table

you will NOT catch the hot shooter ALL THE TIME the minute you arrive at the table. wanted to clarify that.

Whats up man? Craps is my favorite casino game! Thats all i play! Could you give me a example how you would play a game with lesser money! I am not a big player like yourself. My bankroll is like $500 max. If i could ever get to your expert status i would play with more money! Need to get there 1st! Whats your advise?

Last 3 times i played craps won big . Back to back YO . First one hits i press it second time hits i cash out. All 3 times i hit the YO back to back.

1.  know your bankroll.  500 is good enough man.  do not bet ahead of your self.  i see players betting 300 to 1000 a number. i just do not do that. i do not have the bank roll to do it.

2.  know your players around you.  sounds weird but if there is alot of negative energy around might be a good time to bet the donts.  you need positive energy around.  i dont know if you ever pay attention to this but i do.  u just gotta feel the game.  you guys can ridicule all you want but from my experience it can make the slightest difference.  last minute field bettors is negative energy, guys arguing with dealers about stupid bets is always negative energy.  players who make a bet right before he looks up to throw the dice is always negative.  these bettors change the flow and consistency of the shooter. you want CONSISTENCY with shooters and dealers. you do not want obstacles.

3.  changing dealers during a hot roll.  seen this too many times.  just take your bet off a couple of rolls if a shooter been rolling for about 10 to 15 minutes when they change dealers. (totally up to you) it can never hurt but could be  a good idea.

4.  PATIENCE  remember there are about 2 to 3 hot hot shooters a day.  when will you catch that person? and which table?  do not press too fast unless you fee like i think this person gonna hit some numbers . then by all means go for it cause you may never see it again.  

5.  have fun.  when you make it all about money it then becomes a stressful job.  drink, mingle joke around you will find it so much more soothing.  if the table is cold bet the donts if you are not a dont bettor walk away and play at another table. simple as that.

6.  chance. remember it is still a game of LUCK so keep that in mind.  you can maximize your percentages by winning and that is what i do.  ask the dealer how the table been doing also.  they will tell you.  they give good advice.  good luck hope this helps. 

yulp craps is so much fun man.  yulp i love betting hardaways and parlaying them. 

I am a low budget player and still really learning the game.I'll just play the pass line,back it up and play the come a couple times.Play a couple hardways every now and then  for 2 dollars,one for me and one for the crew.

Always seems if I have a lot out there,I'll seven out quick.I'll have just the pass line and behind working,bam I'm making the whole table money but me..rolling harrdways when I'm off it and guys are parlaying it etc..As soon as I bet it during my roll,jinx..

 Last trip I made a couple guys at opposite ends of the table hundreds,maybe thousands by hitting hard6 twice in a row..and something else was involved also,another hardways or an 11.and the d-bags didn't even throw a quarter my way..Can't take claps to the cage.

Do you piece off a hot roller that just made your session and/or tip the crew?

 I can't imagine myself not leaving a token chip to the roller close to me who just made me hundreds and hundreds..I tip dealers during the game and upon cashout if I'm up enough because of them ,not a sub last ten minutes of action.

i ONLY tip if the dice is hot.  that is making bets for them on the pass and hardaways and horn bets. all the time.  u take care of them they take care of you.  i rarely tip a hot shooter.  i only tip if they dont know what they are doing.

for instance one time this guy was shooting hot but he would only play pass line with small odds. so he made minimal amount of money. so i would break him off 50.  least you can do.  i have received 200 in tips total from high rollers.  one time this man bet 400 on the yo and i rolled a yo. he broke me off 100
