cheap blackjack tables

Are there a lot of $5 and $10 Blackjack tables around? Also can you surrender on a blackjack hand in Vegas? Thanks for your help.

$10 table are easy to find, you can easily find $5 too in the lower end casinos. Sahara even has $1 tables, they dont give you as good odds though with a blackjack only paying 6 to 5 if you bet less than $5

When i played out there, someone just said "can i surrender this?" and the dealer did it...I'm used to having specific tables for surrendering, same odds, but just tables that warn/tell people you can surrender.

The 6-5 odds on a bj are also found on a $5, and I think I played on a $10 one...I guess that's why that table was empty, lol.

Just search around, and try to find a good looking dealer, and standard 3-2 odds on a bj.

The clueless and amateurs see 5.00 BJ tables and fall in love.

I stick to the 10 and up where people know how to play the game and don't split 10's and stay on soft 17 when the dealer's showing a bust card.

Generally, only Single-Deck games pay 6 to 5 blackjack. Most amateurs think single deck is better (it is, but near impossible to find @ 3 to 2) and think the blackjack payout is negligible. It's not. 6 to 5 is a huge edge for the house. Stay away from these tables!

Double-deck games are great, 99% will be 3 to 2 blackjack. but usually are higher limits, $25 & up

Surrender is usually only allowed on 6-deck shoes (though it may be allowed on perpetual-shuffle machines, and I try to stay away from those)

I sat at a $25 table and watch a women hit a hard 17. Just because you have money doesn't mean you know how to play, and if you conform to the idea that the way other people play causes you to lose, you need to find another game to play because you will always blame other players for your losses. Try Keno.........

Rich people don't necessarily know strategy either...been at $50 tables and people playing hundreds a hand that have no clue...scared to hit on 16 against anything...scoff at me for doubling on my soft hands as if I'M the dummy...

Been in the same situation many times...gotta love doubling on those soft hands...and the result usually goes either way. Just hate the people who don't know how to play, or try to teach others, and then they make fun of how I play.

The El Cortez in Downtown Vegas is where you want to be if you're looking for a 5$ single-deck game with 3-2 payout.

finding it more and more difficult to get involved in a $5 table these days. I see em once in a while at places like Tropicana, Excalibur, IP, but they are always so so crowded so it's not worth the hassle. I know that Slots of Fun (near Circus Circus) usually has a few $3 tables going, but dam that place is a dump!
