Buy in 1oz or 10oz increments. I bought a 100oz bar and wish I had bought 10 x 10oz bars so, I could have sold some when it was high and still not got rid of the whole thing.

I can see the idea of buying silver but the problem with it for me is that it does not create an income or return. The value is based on what someone else will pay you for it. If the world were ever to go to garbage your silver would not be worth anything either. You wont go to a gas station and give them a silver coin and they will let you fill up.
Water, guns, ammo and medicine will be what are "valuable".
Stick with companies that have a chance of making you a return and giving you dividends.
Just my opinion. I am sure I will get ripped by some 50 year old for being naive and stupid, but that is Covers!

How is that different from anything else that is being sold? Stocks, currencies, items on Ebay, my car, house, etc?
Gold & Silver are the oldest forms of currency, dating back thousands of years. If the world goes to hell, what makes you think things wouldn't return to what basically worked in the past?

It wasn't too long ago that people did go to the stores and such and paid with coins made of silver.
