RUSL has taken a pretty big hit as of late. Is it time to buy the fear on Russia?
Very little is going to be done here. There isn't much that can be done. Crimea is Russian now, and I do not think that any world powers have the stomach to challenge it.
Going to look for a cheap entry.

I have been pretty busy this week, but it seems like any military intervention is off the table. That being said, without the tangible threat of military intervention, won't it just go down like Georgia? And doesn't the annexation of Crimea = quite a bit of new business for Russia?
I like 14, but would love 12.
What price do you want wall?

I think Russia could tick off quite a few countries and this could go lower. Its also a high levered vehicle with little volume..I'd want half this price honestly.
Upside isnt that awesome at this point.

I think you will see a bit more saber rattling by Western nations as this progresses. Very similar situation to the Georgian invasion where Russia will claim that they are 'protecting ethnic Russians'. No real punishment was ever leveled on them for the breach of sovereignty. Russia simply left troops in a 'buffer zone' in the disputed areas. Then it went away so to speak...
Pretty ironic that we pick and choose which countries we want to go to war for. As a backer of democratic nations, we left Georgia in the cold. But that's another story.
Simply put, I don't see any armed conflict. However, there will be the threat of sanctions. This is going to carry on as I don't see the US or the EU wanting to lose face. This is all about push and shove; and eventual compromise. I just don't see Western powers wanting to go to war over a traditional Russian enclave.
I am no financial expert, but I think this thing gets a bit uglier before this calms down.

You had your shot at 12 in May,it went barely below it and it went back to your 13 price after the move up and down.
At 16 it is not all that far from where you mentioned it originally..still I dont see how this is a strong play, its illiquid and probably not a pure play, there has to be a more pure non-leveraged ETF for this...
