I usually just practice trade on paper and have been for a few years now. I have never had the money to get into the market but am trying to learn so when I do have money I will have some skills.
Recently won about $2,000 playing craps in AC and was thinking about getting in. I have been looking at DNN. Any thoughts?
My reason is this - My favorite way to pick stocks is by identifying descent companies that have been hit hard price wise by things outside of their control or things that wall street has blown out of proportion.
For example a few months back Google missed their earnings slightly and dropped to about $530ish over a few days. Since I know they are a solid company and it was very close to their 52 week low, I jumped in (on paper). Next earnings came out and they did well, jumped to $620 and I sold out.
These are the type of ideas I like to trade on. With DNN, they are a uranium company and the Japanese disaster pretty much annihalated all the uranium stocks, that plus the downgrade have knocked it down to just about its 52 week low. Since my budgest is somewhat limited, I was thinking about jumping in on a lower priced stock for a little bit of a rebound. Then use profits to further invest.
Anyone have any input on DNN? Thanks
