I deposited 76K cashier check 1 year ago. No issues ever came up. I guess banks wants to see a trail where funds are coming from. If the source is legit, i dont think there should be any flags. I beleive you are in States?

seriously dude if you really have over 100K in an off shore book. I would get my money asap and deposit it in a brokerage account. seriously good luck getting that 100K most people have trouble getting 1K off these books..

Was it his intention to lose everything and not worry about moving money back? If yes hes he's a fool. If not, he's a fool for thinking about about how to take disbursements under the radar for the US state he lives in until now.
Don't mean to be harsh but this ending well is less than 20%. He should do what Houston says and get all ther money in one shot to a bit coin wallet that is not coinbase - a real and private, not an an exchange bit coin wallet. They it is out of the sportsbook and the sportsbook is out of the equation. That's 95% of the battle.
The risk here is bitcoin price fluctuations.
If he gets to that which I highly doubt he needs to start taking 9.5K chunks out every month via an exchange (Coinbase and Gemini are not anonymous and in cahoots with Uncle Sam) sending the scratch to SMALL banks(places not names BofA, WellsFargo, Chase etc), as the big ones are hooked up to every monitoring system and the flag will go up based on his SSN - not the branch. Unless his account has a history of just under $10,000 cash movements in from a foreign country.
Also if he starts to open a few bank accounts at smaller banks in order to spread out the disbursements this activity will also raise an eyebrow.
The offshore sportsbook has every right to stall and deny the payments and do everything they want to not pay - because there is zero recourse.
Betting serious money like this should be done at a real and liquid casino in person with maybe a few beards depending on what one is betting on.
Most offshores have no problem paying out 2-5K a month if you are giving them sides they need. Most offshores have no problem paying out more if you are very red figure with them and over a nice chunk of time.

Awesome info., BarneyB.
Question: will a legit onshore (William Hill, FanDuel, etc.) take a transfer? Seems it would be in their good interests to do as much.

Have them pay you in Bitcoin.
Send Bitcoin to Virwox Exchange (Austria based). Virwox will exchange your bitcoin for their currency. They will send their currency to your Paypal. The trail is no longer related to online gambling because their currency is a product. You have bought a product from them (for a fee of 1-4%, depending on your volume). Can be done in less than 20 minutes.
It's how I pay myself out. I also live in a state that's illegal to gamble.

Your best bet is to send it to bitcoin. If you don¡¯t have any issues getting it from sports book then you are free. If u are able to get that first step done then u can worry about the second step later. Congrats on making 150k in a month
