I'm thinking about making a trade before the trade deadline but wanted
some opinions first. I'm in 1st place and looking to upgrade my team
even more for the playoffs. It's a 12 team PPR and 2 RB, 2 WR and a
FLEX.
Right now this is the team I have.
QB- Ryan, Stafford
RB- McCoy, Bradshaw, McGahee, Pierre Thomas, Ingram
WR- Fitz, A. Johnson, Dez, Decker, Harvin
TE- Graham, Gronkowski
Someone offered me AP for Stafford and if I do that I'd be playing Ryan
the rest of the way but I'd also be stacked at RB with Bradshaw hurt.
Thoughts?

Personally, I would make that trade. AP and Shady are beasts and can help you dominate most teams with those starters. You should see if you can get any value for Gronk.

Thanks! I did do the trade but gave up Thomas along with Stafford. Now, there's another problem. Someone offered me Rodgers for McCoy. Should I do that trade now? If I do it I'd be thin at RB with Ingram and Bradshaw hurt and I would love to shop Gronk but what do you think I should ask for in return? What kind of RB do you think I could get for him?

I know this is kind of off topic as far as what you're looking for but you should be able to pick up Kendall Hunter of waivers.
You have to look at it this way, you're in first and going to make the playoffs. The 49ers may very well clinch the west by week 12 and may have their playoff seed sealed up a week or two after that. They don't want to risk Gore with nothing to play for given his injury history. You should be able to get him on your bench for nothing. You may not need him, but you don't want someone else having him either.
The Rodgers trade is dicey because G.B. may not have much to play for if the Niners do start to fall off and G.B. continues to roll. We really don't know how McCarthy handles those situations. But if G.B. stays perfect Rodgers might continue to play. Tough call.
