This was by far the most dysfunctional draft ever. Held #9 pick in 10 team standard no kickers league. No traditional snake. We reselect picks every 2 rounds. Its just a tradition we have. Anyway here is the team;
QB Mike Vick
RB Chris Johnson
RB Darren McFadden
WR AJ Green
WR Dez Bryant
Flex Jamaal Charles
TE Jermichael Finley
D/ST Eagles
Bench; Phil Rivers, Reggie Wayne, Texans D, Shonn Greene, Isaac Redman, Mike Crabtree, Ryan Williams, Jon Baldwin
Was very high early on in the draft goinf RB, RB, RB, WR but after that made some blunders. There are gambles on all of those picks but Ive got 3 RB's in prime and a superstar in the making in AJ Green. For the first time I'm questioning Dez Bryants ceiling. Can he be Megatron, or is he like a Keyshawn Johnson? Fantasywise. The bright side is that he's caught 61% of balls thrown his way. Has good hands and if he can get some red zone looks his ROI relative to where was drafted should be higher.
Vick kept dropping and Romo was already gone. I struggled and questioned how could a player who was a top 10 a year ago is now a 6th rounder? When he has done nothing but be fantasy gold when on the field. Aha, theres the problem. This fucker has to be on the field and if he is for a full season then this could very well be steal of the draft.
Many of my targets like Brandon Marshall, Julio Jones, Demarco Murray, Adrian Peterson, were all gone. The back half of the draft was uninspiring. Pondered how much does Reggie Wayne have left and drafted him for value. Drafted two #1 RBs on running teams and added Phil Rivers. Targeted two defenses. I like the Eagles they could be top 5-10. Texans not only are also highly touted, but have tow dates with the Jags and two against rookie QB Abdrew Luck. Well see what happens.
